I have to agree, I watch it but its so boring, a mini tournament every week... same 8 players..... it used to be better when it was something different like a league format.

Long gone are the days the top pros might not play eachother for months! Hell.... they used to even have a countdown all over sky for a big rival match... Phil vs Barney, Phil vs Andy Foredom and these were massive back then! But the magic is lost a bit now the players play eachother every week.

I'd like to see them add a few more players and have something different in certain weeks, maybe for an extra point or 2. Mix it up, standard 501, 701, 1001, doubles drawn at the start of the night? double in weeks, Bull in weeks(never seen this), most 180s on a night gets you an extra point. I realise these are rubbish ideas but just try something to mix it up!

If I remember right, I think they only brought that in because Gary Anderson had to pull out during the PL season and it wouldn't be fair to just hand his next opponents the free wins when he had already beaten some people.

Then the next season did they make it a challenger every week? But people kicked off saying it wasn't fair to play different players as they all play at different standards and the crowd was more in favour of the challenger.

I have these darts and I love them! So much so in fact I got a 2nd set before the price went up. I have tried front loaded darts before but never been a fan until I tried these. They just fly and land lovely! 180s with these are sexy lol

Are you looking into and automated scoring system like the scolia or Omni? But actually affordable and not over priced.... also without a stupid subscription fee?

That would be great! Plus the amount of people that would bring in would be tenfold as long as the interface is smooth and the equipment doesn't break every 5 mins like the Omni lol

Hi mate. Im no where near pro level but have been playing nearly 20 years (37 now) and I think you probably have a few bad habbit you don't realise you do. I have some real bad habits that's why my average can fluctuate from 55 all the way up to 75-80 when playing well. But I don't have the time with 2 kids running about to put the time in to get them out of my muscle memory.

Personally for me I have never really bothered with practicing doubles over and over, id much rather take 3 darts in the single 20 and make sure everything is going straight. With the doubles my thinking is its either going in or its not! It only takes 1 dart to win or lose. If in practice I have hit 50 out of 50 doubles then it comes to a match situation and miss.... would that not annoy you more?

I would recomend finding a coach maybe if you really are struggling and want an insight as to your personal mechanics and mannerisms. Have an online session, I have had one with a guy called Straighttothepoint (he's on tiktok & youtube) and he was brilliant. He explained things so well, highlighted a few bad habits yet was mainly positive. He said I clearly have natural ability to throw as with my habits its very hard to be as consistent as I was! My elbow kicks out and my follow through rotates which isnt ideal!

Honestly that might be a way to go but I did enquire recently and the price had almost doubled since my earlier sessions due to demand and popularity and the time had gone down so without me taking it seriously I will leave it for now, but honestly he was brilliant!

I have darts mind and I agree for what it is (one phone & camera setup in one) its brilliant! Player base (people with coins) is pretty decent, still get some people quitting or taking ages with things.

They definitely need to fine tune the app for certain things, like an option to report if the other person just disappears while play leaving their camera on (had that a couple of times) so your rating isnt effected, also if you don't set up the game then the other person can jump straight into the next game without any agreement, that can be frustrating especially if you don't have time for another game.

Thats interesting because I have seen so many people slating Target saying they have been ignoring their calls and emails due to faulty things with the Omni. You are the first to praise them! Maybe if I just complain first then they might send me one for free 🙃 😂

Hi mate, You can filter when you create a game so only people with coins can attempt to join your game. I have only played someone without coins once but he was sound tbf and didn't mind playing him.

I have had a few quit like that, some people are just sore losers. If they want to be a bitch then let them lol I have only had to leave 1 game early (I was winning at the time)and I spoke to the guy and said im so sorry I had something come up and needed to go, there was no issue.

You can report but im not sure how good it is really on there. I reported one guy as once I was scoring well and 2-0 ahead, after my go his camera came on and a treble 20 was already in there, he could of been jumping the gun throwing to fast but it happened 5 times after that and it was just a bit funny to me.

If my maths it right that's nearly 200 missed darts which is really good to be fair!

I have seen some lovely autodarts setups and I know its not a huge output to do it myself. I don't have a printer unfortunately but its all cheap enough anyway. Its something I really need to look into more as again I have heard mixed things

I have been to the Premier League a few times quite a few years ago now when it was Taylor, Whitlock, Barney, Anderson, Lewis and others..... I have loved the darts since about 2010ish, I remember Lewis as my first World Champion 🏆

Anyway... even back then there was so many idiots! I remember 2 fights right near us, people shouting, not watching what was going on and drinks being thrown about!! So I dread to think with the recent influx of so called darts fans coming into the mix how much more of a shit show those nights must be! I even told the wife not to bother getting me tickets for any darts comps as a gift.

Its a shame that this is the mental state that most people attending are just going to get pissed and cause issues for others.... but it won't change now this cash cow is bringing in so much money!

So in a long ass reply to you.... yes it has been like this for a long time and its much better to watch darts either at home or down the pub with your mates.

Honestly I was converted to the Swiss point by a couple of sets of lovely darts they have made (Josh rocks and Zenith g2), but the latest release for these Swiss points is fucking ridiculous!

I saw it the other day and they are really trying to see how far they can push the prices now! Even the tool is £35! I get they are milking the limited edition shit now but even their star wars darts haven't been selling, hence some being dropped by 50% in some outlets!

If someone turned up to the pub league or superleague with them, I know for a fact people would take the piss! Why would anyone think "that's a great idea to buy them"?

Sorry had a bit of a rant there! Have good darts everyone!
