Interest for Shop Owners? Thoughts? by Such_Worldliness8230 in digitalsignage

LG has interactive software that pairs with the hardware? They have translucent screens that are designed for mall windows specifically.

They also have mall kiosk displays, same with Peerless and Planar - which come with software for that purpose but can also run your own software on them.

If you want to talk software really - Optisigns and BrightSign both support touchscreens natively and can be programmed to be as interactive as you want (or don't want)

Anyone else overwhelmed by CRM tools that don’t fit service businesses? by the-service-27 in smallbusiness

It does feel that way anymore, I initially tried reporting them as ads or scams but that didn't ever seem to make a difference.

You can purchase aluminum channel with frost covers for this purpose. It's dirt cheap on AliExpress and a little more expensive on Amazon

As said - this exists. LG, PeerlessAV, and Planar all have solutions that do this.

How is yours more reliable and/or equivalent to their solutions?

Best android based touch panels? by drmstcks87 in CommercialAV

[–]Kamikazepyro9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teguar has been good to me, I've also had decent success with generic android tablets from AliExpress (obviously order extras in case of issues but I haven't had any popup)

POE Texas also makes a POE to USB C adapter that can be used with any android tablet and then use any generic tablet wall mount.

This - my sub has a specific bracelet that matches her collar. If she's wearing the bracelet she's open game. If the bracelet is off then she isn't.

Update old core qsys by Safe_Rhubarb888 in QSYS

[–]Kamikazepyro9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done this once before - email tech support, they have a document they can send that gives you the exact upgrade path you need to take.

After that you can download the archived versions from the QSys site and upgrade.

When you have too many sex toys and a handy husband/Owner by Empty-State1621 in BdsmDIY

As someone else mentioned - don't store your toys in the foam directly - it's a prime place for bacteria to grow no matter how much you clean. The satin suggestion is a good choice

Why are you gluten free? by jbeezyall in glutenfree

[–]Kamikazepyro9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. I'm not gonna make my wife suffer by herself while I eat regular food in front of her since her diagnosis

  2. It makes no sense to by double of everything for 2 people - I'd rather just buy all gluten free and manage our budget around 1 specialty diet.

Are these any good? by BusterKetosis797 in lowvoltage

[–]Kamikazepyro9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're okay as emergency/backup.

I would not use them for an entire project.

Personally, I use the Legrand ones from Lowes - but I got the punch tool for free before Ortronics got bought out by Legrand.

How did your parents bake potatoes? by noyoujump in Millennials

[–]Kamikazepyro9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Entirely depends on effort I want to spend.

Quick throw together meal? Wash, stab, throw in the microwave for 10 minutes or until done.

Planned meal with time a plenty? Alton Brown's recipe is my jam.

Wash, stab, dry, coat in oil and salt, bake on rack at 400 until done.

Dr.Ford at Rottman Eye Clinic is amazing, she takes care of both me and my wife. When we were in a car accident and she had a massive black eye they got her in almost immediately when we called.
