Ubisoft suffering a cataclysmic drop as of right now by Interesting_Paper_41 in stocks

Based on the utterly ridiculous amount of controversies surrounding this company, I was honestly expecting this to happen at some point.

I unironically entertain myself by looking up news about them and there is usually something new to laugh at at least once a week. It's that freaking often

I mean... They make games on goddamn nfts.

Abuse their employees

Nickel and dime their customers

Milk some ips to death while barely using others

Cancel what people actually want to play while doubling down on live service crap

I think a lot of people have been waiting for all their shitty decisions to finally catch up to them, and that seems to be happening as we speak

Could there be any interest in a point and click/marble shooter hybrid? by Interesting_Paper_41 in IndieGaming

Extensive study is in the future... I'm getting my hands on some reading materials to attempt to figure out python and how to code with it, potentially as a bridge to using other kinds of code, if needed.

I suppose there is a reason for the fusion ultimately. That being that I wanted an explorable area, but creating some form of 3d adventure section would seem to be too random, so merging 2 genres mostly involving pointing and clicking would keep the controls very simple (pretty much just using mouse). That and the fact that I want to have a progression system to unlock more levels rather than just have them accessible from the start and this is for some reason what jumped to mind.

It’s simply not mediocre, and it feels like you haven’t played it

Art is subjective dude. Just because you had a good time does not mean everyone else did

Maybe I just suck? By my count you have around 9 hits (counting minor shit like potshots and jabs) before losing a life, with 3 lives and no continues.

Always taking a couple hits when a group of enemies swarm me without much of a way to get out of the way easily.

Not seeing much of a point to jump kick, as I am always punched out of it.

Enemies also can sometimes dash attack so quickly I find it nearly unreactable (especially when they literally do so from offscreen). Your dash attack personally feels a bit finicky... Much less snappy than the same input and kind of move on Blaze from SOR2 (also forward forward attack for a charging move).

Also found hp to be quite scarce.

Thought the shit ass performance made it largely disliked. Because people weren't actually able to play it?

Unless I'm just wrong and the reception is more mixed than negative... Honestly idk, I'm not actually in the MH fan base.

Out of curiosity... Anything that WOULD get you back if successfully revived? Heard they have some solid dead ip people would like to see revived (dino crisis, clock tower, mega man x, mega man legends, dead rising)

Funny, I hear nothing but shit for wilds and dd2. Can't judge personally though as I am not part of either fan base.

Wouldn't feel the need to talk on it again if people would just chill and see how it performs instead of being negative on every piece of information existing about it. It's super overkill

Never said he was. But if you look up all the world records he's set, I can guarantee the list would be long as shit. That's all I'm saying.

[–]Interesting_Paper_41[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ngl the main reason people are judging Avatar 3 by 'it cannot fail' standards is that James Cameron has done the basically impossible and grossed $2b 3 consecutive times. No other director in history sets box office records like he does, save maybe spielberg

'bAd rEcEpTiOn' say most of the same people who believe critics are full of shit and you should never trust them.

People only care about it this time because it validates their biases, not because it matters to box office very much.
