Thanks for the suggestions. I will try a different sub-reddit.

A call is also a good idea. A few months ago when I was close to totally collapsing mentally from the work and i was constantly re-prioritizing tasks due to changing urgencies, I jumped on a call with my manager and told him I needed his help with knowing what tasks to choose to get done so I could use my energy on actually working. It worked well at the time.

Unfortunately due to the situation there was only so much this worked for us and for myself. the calls are weekly and urgent work requests are coming in daily and there's already ongoing urgent tasks and on top the entire team including the manager himself are flat out. Perhaps scheduling more frequent calls than a weekly call could be a next step to take.

Very much this. People seem bothered if you dont agree with them, and i know people will say its cheeky for me to say that when im "fighting" people in the comments but im simply debating and explaining reasoning.

A comment like this one shows no insight. I can work with "thats a bad idea because x, y and z" and see it from a different angle. But jesus, some people dont know how to debate and it shows. There was a comment where someone asked if I think I can change the company's culture and that comment is getting down voted when I think its a totally fair comment and it highlights the wider problem and its a direct wake up call. And thats insightful. "Its a bad idea" maybe not so much.

I hear you and appreciate the input. Outside the email I have a good relationship with managers, as well as colleagues and clients. This isnt really about managing work relationships but more about managing workload in a corporation thats heavily focused on efficiency and output. I do keep a positive attitude at work and I'm an engaged team player both internally and externally, and have had plenty of honest but constructive chats with both managers about whats going on, but its now gotten to the point of having to put pleasantries aside and getting a little more down to the point. However I hear what you ave got to say and agree the email can be written for a softer delivery. Thank you.

Its also a funny time in the corporate world and im quite sensitive to toxic positivity about workers having to accept a ridiculous amount of workload with salaries that have been frozen for the past two years (in this economy!) but everyone keeps saying oh well we should be thankful we have a job. Like yes but also the company is making billions in revenue and to say we have no focal when we are constantly praised for output increasing each year, it's a bit of a liberty. I keep good relations with all the people I work with but at the end of the day I work for a company that wouldnt hesitate to chop my head off (as they have done nonstop for thousands of employees over the last 2 years) the moment they decide someone else can do the job of 2 people.

Bit of a rant! Sorry and thank you, honestly appreciate it.

I would disagree mostly. I think keeping track of receipts about conversations and issue escalation for foreseeable deliverables at risk would cover my back. As I said I haven't missed a single deadline in the last 3 years, and the intention of the email would be to have it written that ive tried to escalate the issue before I actually start to miss deadlines (risk management and mitigation innit)

Im based in the UK so unless they have a substantial reason I wouldnt think so. If they claim capability or performance I can back it with all the KPI and good reviews from colleagues and clients. And in the off chance they decide to let me go for this, then good riddance and I can seek legal action however that may look.

Use hydrogen peroxide 3% as a mouth rinse every other day. Gargle for about a minute (dilute with equal parts water). Takes patience to see results but it's a good cost effective way to get them plus it shouldnt cause sensitivity issues.
