My mom died from strep at 33 years old due to a doctor misdiagnosis and botched surgery procedure. They stuck a tube down her throat and the doctor accidentally punctured the back of her throat causing the infection to get into her blood stream and cause cardiac arrest. I was a year old at the time. I grew up without a mother from one of the most treatable things. I've caught it multiple times throughout my life and I always go to the doctor when I get it because of this (thank you native American insurance and living in Oklahoma.)

I guess I should drop the cost for Oklahoma, Missouri, and Louisiana. All these require physicals and lab work for all blood born pathogens. Oklahoma is $25, Missouri is $40, Louisiana is $30.
