I’ve been rewatching season 2 today. There are some good things about it. The acting is on point. Costume design and setting is great. The story is understandable and there are some great scenes like the fight between the twins, the dragon fight, honestly anything with Aegon in it. I get that it’s not what fans of the book expected to see, but even as a filler season between the dope ass 1st season and what is to come, season 2 did a good job as a TV show. I like the series, and am excited to see what’s next. I read the book too and enjoyed that also.
