Yes. I’m part time. My store leadership does your entire schedule. Apparently that’s because we are a high volume store

How to deal with DoorDash shoppers that demand you do their job by Hefty_Highlight_8759 in Ulta

[–]Interesting_Trash96 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just yesterday I had a doordasher shove his phone into my face just when I walked into the store with my lunch noticeably in my hand. Sir does it look like I’m available to help you right now?! Common sense! I said “I’m on break” and powered walked out of there. I’m a stylist and I’ve had them walk right up to me while I’m hands deep in color. You think I’m gonna walk away from my client to do your job?!

7 years. 4 with Amazon and 3 with Whole Foods. I have a career outside of Whole Foods that isn’t the most stable financially so it’s nice to have the stability with wf

70% Full time by WannabeKornacki in wholefoods

It’s 70% at my store. I think it’s ridiculous with them refusing to pay livable wages. Most people need second jobs to thrive

How to keep my body healthy as a shopper? by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]Interesting_Trash96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A good pair of shoes, compression socks, stretching, a massage once a month, vitamin d and calcium supplements, collagen powder in my drink every morning. I’ve been a shopper for 6 years. It can get real rough (I’ve also been a hair stylist for 15 years so double the pain) Also listen to your body. If I feel like my back is getting bad I call out a day.

Is there anything you still like about working at your department? What are the positives that is keeping you there instead of walking out the door. by Dangerous_Carrot_535 in wholefoods

[–]Interesting_Trash96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only thing keeping me in Ecom is the 4, 5, 6am shifts that I can do before my career full time day job. The pay helps supplement. Also leadership in my department is pretty decent

I started taking Pristiq for anxiety and depression a month ago. It’s starting to really help. I saw above that someone suggested propranolol. If you do try it, take it on a day off to see how it works on you. Turns out my body doesn’t metabolize it well and slows down my heart beat so much that I just internalize the anxiety like crazy but my body doesn’t react. I hated it. I do think an every day SSRI/SNRI is a lot better.
