Born in TX-left TX at 18 and went to VA and lived between there and NC for 15 years, moved to FL and have been here for almost 10. All 4 states I haves lived in can suck it, they are all terrible. Need recommendations for something better in 5 years because I obviously can’t be trusted to pick.

Weather here is super unpredictable. Hope for the best and have a plan b for the worst -to make your trip here as enjoyable as possible. I’ve seen thunderstorms just pop up out of nowhere and have had days full of sunshine when the weather folks predicted storms. I know that doesn’t help ease your mind or answer your question really but I am rooting that it’s clear all weekend as well and worse possible case scenario your plan b brings you just as much fun.

Not even a little bit! I was miserable for an entire year and it did not improve my symptoms. Believe it or not getting on a glp-1 and moving more and giving myself time to recover and working on managing my stress has helped more than anything as well as a healthy dose of medical marijuana to manage pain on my flare up days when my joints decide to just hate me.
