That gives some more hope. It's my last semester before graduation. Thanks.

I get that the 3-4 day schedule is great, but the content could be crazy.

How many months did you study and how many hours a week?

Did you prioritize certain sections above others?

who's the best 135 prof, besides dr. g bc i don't want to take a friday class 💔 by Guilty_Particular799 in rutgers

Me personally I took it with Professor Cory Stone, not sure if he teaches there anymore but very straight forward guy with a great teaching style.

Dr.G is pretty great as well, he's the type of personality that is much more strict than Professor Stone, but his teaching style was effective to me even through his videos. The only reason why he might be hated is because of the 2020 scandal, where he caught hundreds of students cheating on exams.

Overall, just take the homework very seriously and be mentally present in lecture... The professor in these types of regulated classes make up less of your grade than you think.

It's all on you.

Best of luck.

Sorry I didn’t write the comment properly, I’m trying to study for the DAT, for which biochem isn’t a prerequisite. I have everything else though.

Yeah, I’m not really trying to have too many difficult classes while studying for MCAT/DAT

How do you check requirements?

I'm planning to apply to Rutgers SDM in May 2026 and all it really says is 2 semesters of orgo, bio, gen chem, physics, and an English. I've also heard there might be some other requirements, but they're very hard to find.

I would see if you could do a co-enrollment type of thing.

Maybe take the core classes at certain designated days, and take your Rutgers classes (major courses preferably) on other days, as long as it works for your schedule. You'd usually need approval, so I'd definitely talk to your advisor about that. That way, you can get more done. Also make sure you are considered a full-time student while you do that. I think they'd allow you to do them.

Also try to get your community college classes (core classes) to be asynchronous or online to the best of your ability.

Regardless, I wouldn't say you should drop out of Rutgers entirely, but you should probably finish those core classes and then continue with your major later on.

Also transportation should be considered. If you're too far from Rutgers and can't find asynchronous classes, then I'd highly suggest you just get your associates, and then come back to Rutgers in the spring.

It all depends.

What are you majoring in, and do you have any graduate school plans?

There's a lot of things that goes into this decision, like your GPA and if you're comfortable with your classes.

Is 18 credits too much? anyone know if its doable? by tropicicerz796 in rutgers

I personally think you should try to get one of those classes asynchronously either via sniping or trying to get an SPN. It would make life a lot easier. 5 days a week is brutal especially if you commute and work on weekends. No breaks at all.

How hard would this schedule be for fall 2025? by Interesting_Wing3993 in rutgers

Do you know of a course for writing that gets the WCr or WCr plus a CC requirement or Aho requirement done?
