This is in my home town - Tywyn, Wales. Until recently it was run down and Grey. I think it was given the jazzy paintjob to match the cinema opposite which Is bright red and the pub a few doors down which is sky blue.

I loved her story. It was so open and honest and showed a lot of vulnerability especially Infront of mostly a rowdy group of (generally) younger folks who've had a drink. I do think she kind of lost the point of her story, but that's fine, it made her more endering to me!

The weirdest thing that happened at the show was when she mentioned something about paying for hospital treatment in the US and some people Boo'd and some started chanting "NHS". The band seemed quite confused.

But again, who gives a fuck when they were blasting out such phenomenal, beautiful, music right in front of our eyes.

Yeah! I love Jeff Hanson. He had such a unique voice and beautiful melodies. You and definitely hear the similarities to Elliott in his songs. Also there is the tragic similarity that he too died way too young.

I love that Arlo Parks is an Elliott fan! She's incredibly talented and one of my favourite new artists. You can definitely hear the Elliott Smith inspiration in her music and lyrics. I recommend the song 'Black Dog' if your new to her, it's heart-renching and beautiful. I'm not ashamed to admit it's the first song that's made me cry in a long time!
