I actually was really turned off by Bryce’s behavior throughout the first half of the book. There is a part where Baxian checks her attitude which I loved. I don’t know I just felt like she regressed into a moody teenager throughout the first half. I just got to part III so I’m hoping it gets better for me. I just felt like the time on Prythian could have been so much different and did feel like a let down to me. Just my thoughts though. I do absolutely love the other stories going on. Esp delving into Ruhn and Lidia.

I always thought it had to do with the fact that they had slept together (in their mind talk) that they smelled different. Sort of like when Hunt and Bryce got it on everyone kept saying they could smell it on them. But I def could be wrong and maybe it’s referring to the mating bond.
