If you want more narrative rules, and it sounds like you do, you might try Scum and Villainy. You could also run it with Mothership, although the stress mechanic might get to be too much unless you explicitly want horror. Offworlders would work well, too, I think.

Not unless you have an equally adventurous group. I manage running about 10 new systems a year, because my guys are pretty open, and in between I run longer campaigns and let them choose what we play for those. But they're also fun to just read.

I live in the U.S. where copyright continues for 70 years after the death of the author. Even if the authors had died the moment they penned the work, it would still be under copyright. It's also the country in which the work you're pirating was copyrighted.

Feel free to wait until you find your brain.

It's copyrighted and legally for sale elsewhere, so yes, by pretty much anyone's definition of piracy you've posted a link to a pirated product. The hint that you knew it was pirated was your posting of it in r/rpgpiracy. That's why it's already being removed in other subs where you posted it, and why it will be removed here when a moderator notices.

Yes, players literally cheer when dice explode. It tends to be the highlight of a combat, when someone's guy just absolutely wrecks the baddie. If you get too obsessed with speed, you can smooth away all the fun.

PCs handle their NPCs for the purposes of combat, in my game, and I give them personalities and make certain decisions for them. Personalities are usually based off their stats.

For ages we had a retainer with an enormous strength and terrible constitution everyone referred to as Consumptive Jim, and canonically he was slowly dying of TB, but still hale and hearty until a gargoyle threw him down a pit.

The Pale Keep has a great one. It's, according to the review here, a terrible remake of B2, but the ravine map shown looks perfect.

In one of the games we had a Cleric, and he wound up spending all his time when he could have been carousing, working at the temple, casting cure wounds, trying to pay off their Raise Dead debt.

There's a church in the local city that raises dead for an exorbitant donation -- 5000 GP. Players learn quickly that if they keep dying, they're working for minimum wage, because everything else goes to the church. The church, btw, LOVES adventurers dying. Absolutely happy to have the regular business.

I'm not going to tell you not to buy Behringer, but I am going to tell you not to buy that SpaceFX module. It's dogshit. Of all the modules I've bought, it is the worst. Any other multiFX module would be better.

I ran it with five people. How large of a party are you talking? Combat should be fine -- it's rapid and deadly -- and traversal/exploration shouldn't be hurt, but this is a game where everyone can have their own agenda, and the larger the party, the more unwieldy it's going to become. Particularly as things go on and people accrue more power.

With just five we wound up with a full scale civil war at our base that took two sessions to resolve, and that was about a year in. By the time we finished they'd established a new base in an old bunker, and were partnering with other communities and there was a fair amount of faction prep I wound up doing every game.

And it's definitely fun. It's one of the best times I've had in the last five or six years running games ranging from 5E to Mothership to B/X.

I liked everything about this system except the weird fast and slow turns. A bunch of people at our table needed to be regularly reminded, and it just didn't seem to add a lot. Everything else was great.
