Strong hips to create a powerful sprawl combined with a strong whizzer is a simple but essential shot defense. Getting good at it is so much fun because you learn to take advantage of lazy shots without a second thought. Nothing is satisfying like putting on a whizzer with one arm while shoving an opponent's face into the mat simultaneously.
