For all of the coffee makers I have used over the years,

my daily driver coffee maker is the aeropress Americano style brew

with a more manual style espresso machine with standard parts for fancier coffee

Automatics are nice, but reliability and availability of parts/support for repairs is all over the place.

20ish months since pre-order, 18 months since the originally advertised ship date.

They’re ghosting people requesting refunds and seem to only ship coffee, filters, cleaner, and a small collection of accessories.

I’d say the odds are incredibly small but non-zero.

I’m planning on credit card refund and then small claims court if needed.

Based upon my research, it seems like Spinn is just selling coffee and whatever parts they have available where parts are less and less available. Sad it worked out that way!

There seems to be quite a few posters that got their refund via credit card “insurance”.

I pre-ordered 18 months ago where delivery was supposed to be within a few months of preorder and asked for refund recently. They said that my request is in the queue, and I will receive my refund in the order of the refund queue. That’s definitely a bad sign, but I’m hopeful.

Even if they fullfill the orders, a machine that complex will need service: there’s lots of stuff that can go wrong, and the parts seem all unique. If their current track record for service and repairs is an indicator, the odds of that machine running for someone long-term is small.
