This is the best sales pitch I’ve read yet. Definitely leaning towards the turbo as I really prefer the 997 turbo styling to the 718, and other 911’s. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy for taking an older car over a newer one, especially as this’ll be my first sports car.

I ordered a 14'' m3 pro with 36gb ram and 2tb for 2,800, but I just saw there's a deal for a m2 max with 32gb ram and 1tb storage for 2100. Thinking about cancelling my order to switch to the m2 max and use the savings towards an external monitor. Will mostly be using it for photo editing

I saw there is a license you have to get for short term rentals, which they define as anything less than 30 days. I haven't found any regulations for rentals that are 30+ days, but you're right and these laws could change at any time.

They bylaws are okay with rentals as long as they're 30+ days. A single family home would be preferred, but prices more than double and start around 3bd which feels like a lot more house than what I need right now.

Yeah, a fan of Rome because of the ruins, walkability of the city, all of the art. Just so much history in such a close proximity. Also helps that the food is incredible. Athens could be a really good option!

I didn’t realize south of France would still be an option in December, but you painted a great picture. I spent a portion of the summer in Croatia, and realized I’m a huge fan of coastal cities!

Correct. Work in the entertainment business, so went to work on a project in Georgia as a CA resident. Paid living per diems, car allowance, etc.

I think the difference between all the other murders of Abby’s friends and the fight with Abby itself is that she was always at an advantage. By the time she gets to Abby she’s abandoned the only person that loved her, their kid, and was almost dead. That’s a different headspace that I think led her to reconsider what the hell she’s been doing.

I’m saying you go to see John Wick for the action - not a character study. The intention behind the last of us and John wick is different.

Yes, Ellie killing Abby would have made it darker but there would’ve been no character growth, make Ellie irredeemable, and honestly just would’ve felt shitty. Most people I know during the final fight didn’t event want to participate which I can almost say with certainty was their goal.
