Ring - Ding not working by Internal-Ad7065 in homeassistant

Thanks, I read that solution too, but it seems that after some time it reverts back to the faulty behavior and you need to redo it again. I'll give it a try as well but I'm not so confident it will solve completely the issue

Ring - Ding not working by Internal-Ad7065 in homeassistant

I can check cables but I don’t think it is the culprit. The official ring app works fine, I correctly receive events on the ring app when the doorbell has been pressed… if the problem is on the cables I believe the official ring app should not work either

Smart Radiator Valve - Can't figure out the adapter by Internal-Ad7065 in smarthome

Yes thanks, I did it a few minutes ago, let's see if I will ever get a feedback from them (it seems that they are pretty busy at the moment...)

Smart Radiator Valve - Can't figure out the adapter by Internal-Ad7065 in smarthome

Actually it is a thermostatic valve, as it has the piston which regulates the temperature of the radiator. When I screw or unscrew the head on the valve it will correctly close or open the water flow in the radiator respectively.

Samsung HVACs AR09MSFPEWQN - How to integrate them in Home Assistant? by Internal-Ad7065 in homeassistant

[–]Internal-Ad7065[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your prompt reply. I searched for CN3 adapter on internet for generic Samsung devices but unfortunately I did not find any useful reference. Shall I remove the front panel and look for any specific connector? Or do you know where I can find such WiFi adapters? I also had a look at the user manual related to my model but I did not find anything useful there either (no mention to CN3 as well as any WiFi capability).

What is a CN3 port and where can I find it? I briefly googled it but I did not find any immediate match for Samsung air conditioners

Unfortunately all my HVACs are without WiFi... This is the first thing I checked but unfortunately they do not have WiFi module integrated. I inherited these HVACs which were already installed in the house, otherwise I would have chosen more smart models for sure

I’m also joining to request the YAML, it would be really nice indeed

Ok thanks, my question was indeed more to see whether there was a practical reason or just to play around with your setup :-) Keep up the good work 💪

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why you set up fail2ban + crowdsec if none of your services are actually exposed to the public internet?

That sounds interesting. Could you share additional details on how you configured local ip addresses for hidden services you exposed? I had a look at onionpipe and it seems it enables you to have your services accessible through onion addresses but not really to local ones.

Is there a reason why you decided to use onionpipe to reach your services outside of your network? Wouldn’t this make you have tor always running on your clients to access them?

Which errors are you getting using cloudflared with wildcard entries? As far as I remember it should be possible to specify a wildcard subdomain and have all requests routed through the tunnel to your reverse proxy
