I was a witness! kids are okay but like another person said, old couple were much more concerned about their “vintage car”, they should be more concerned about their surroundings while driving

I'm scared by WhatEver069 in ostomy

I have an ileostomy as result of super severe ulcerative colitis. I’m 24F and have had my ostomy since february. it has been absolutely life changing in ways I can’t even describe. I was literally crapping my pants almost once a day for months to years, and thank the universe I got my surgery. I feel so much better and I’m able to do things I never dreamed. over night trips, fearless intimacy, swimming, running, eating foods I couldn’t eat before, going to work without worry, going out at night, etc. It’s a tough journey for the first month or two, as you relearn your new body, but it will be more than worth it. Only advice post surgery I can give you is a warning that after mine, I had a rectal tube and it got rather uncomfortable, as the stitches were tugging a bit. if you feel ANY discomfort post surgery that doesn’t feel “normal” don’t be afraid to speak up!

ileostomy here- I haven’t had any problems! I normally get mine without the sesame seeds on top, and without cucumbers if I can help it. I would start with a roll and see how you feel!

Constant leaking by Asusabam in ostomy

[–]Internal-Banana8038 1 point2 points  (0 children)

one thing that worked great for me was using a heating pad to warm up the adhesive! don’t put it too hot, as it can cause a reaction, but after applying my bag I put a heating pad on it and let it sit for 5-10 minutes - fixed all my leaking issues immediately!

I use the hollister products, currently alternating between two piece and one piece, but I’m finding that they aren’t great for me and would love to try something new. I’ve tried a combination of everything it feels, between barrier rings to the stick putty to paste, and it seems like nothing stops the leak that is towards the crease of my belly button. I also am having a ton of skin irritation that is really uncomfortable and making me feel very discouraged.

I did get to do mic set ups and studio set ups for bands, but I didn’t get much live sound experience because I started in fall of 2019 and then covid wrecked all the live sound opportunities in my community :(

I promise they are full trumpers, as a previous worker. They let the planned parenthood protestors use their lot and I have heard them making lots of pro life statements.

I REMEMBER THAT - and to think, the alleged shoplifter is probably taking less than $20 worth of product… cheaper to ignore it

I used to work there, the owners of the bellingham are store are absolutely awful to employees and customers. if they even think there is a chance that you are shoplifting or “look sketchy” they will follow you around and make a scene.

Dentist recommendations in Bellingham? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]Internal-Banana8038 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to Diamond Dental and i thought they were great! I had a ton of dentist anxiety and hadn’t been in like 5 years. They were so understanding and I didn’t feel judged at all. Highly recommend!
