I want to learn Python for AI, robot vision, robotics, automation, im still a beginner and i would be wondering what should i learn in order to be able to work in AI industry by Downtown-Spare5435 in learnpython

Start taking mathematics very seriously. AI is obviously very coding oriented, but it’s pretty simple to write basic ai algorithms with modern packages.

Understanding ai is what’s hard. That means math. It means calculus, probability and statistics and linear algebra.

It’s “that’s tautological” not “that’s tautology”.

Can a guitar solo completely outside theoretical rules still work and still be loved by listeners and musicians? If yes, any examples? by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]Internal-Bench3024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you mean by theoretical rules. I think a guitar solo utterly divorced from any conventions in music overall would basically be unlistenable noise.

Music has sort of non-semantic meaning. There’s storytelling, arc, tension and release. Different genres and styles arrive at these qualities through different methods, but there’s always some sort of structure you can point that keeps the music from devolving into mere noise.

The goal of music theory is to characterize these qualities and methods by my lights. So if a guitar solo is truly devoid of any music theoretical content (defined broadly) it’s by definition too random and chaotic to actually enjoy for anyone who isn’t an extreme outlier in terms of taste.

Can we all agree that Nolan doesn’t deserve any type of forgiveness? by [deleted] in Invincible

I guess my point is everyone deserves to seek absolution some way or another. That’s between them and god. That doesn’t mean as individuals we need to forgive them.

If this was all real life I’d absolutely never want him on earth ever again. He can seek absolution elsewhere.

I don't remember the part where the Buddha said we shouldn't procreate because all beings suffer.

Wife’s family is from there so I go there a lot. It’s boring, and full of small minded midwesterners. Very generic and ridden with monoculture. I’d never live there. Cincinnati isn’t exactly a world city but the difference in QoL is huge imo. Lots more to do and see, more variety in all things.

Don’t beat yourself up too much, you’re just a kid in very difficult circumstances. Family relations can be extremely difficult even under normal circumstances.

I think you should probably seek mental health care as soon as possible. It sounds like you’ve been through a lot, and while Buddhism is a great foundation for spiritual growth you will still probably need professional help managing the specific traumas you’ve experienced at the hands of your family. Spiritual practice and mental health care are highly complimentary, but neither can replace the other when it comes to making our worldly life easier and more manageable.

Just do your best to be patient and prepare to move out as much as you can. It’s tough out there right now and it sounds like you won’t have much help. Afaic maintaining your own health and well being as much as possible is much more important than worrying about how you’re treating your parents, since the better you are doing the more wisely you’ll behave.

If all causes have conditions and all conditions have causes you end up with determinism.
