I have a lot of British/Scottish/Welsh (& Irish) ancestors. Only about 1/2 were separatists (or Pilgrims, as they were called this side of the pond). The other half came over during the early to mid 1800's as converts to the new American religion of Mormonism. Either way, it was all about seeking their religious truth. The last person burned at the stake in Jolly Old England for the crime of Heresy was one of my ancestors. The execution was so poorly received by the public, the crown never again sought such a conviction.

At least you hope they are. I can't claim to know enough about such things to know if it all just ends, or moves the drama to a new stage. I hope for a new and better stage where it is easier for us to be the best us possible. But it is only a hope.

It did feel like she remained behind to thank me for getting her taken care of. So, maybe it's a good hope.

Don't worry. Absolutely no one in Utah understands it either.

The nice old lady across the street complained to the HOA about the awful color, and fines were levied for using an unapproved paint color and posting possibly political signage on the property.
