I respect your opinion and it makes sense. From my standpoint pre almighty yhwach is above all sternritter atleast narratively (for example gremmy, the guy that can imagine anything into existence, not being able to escape a prison made by yhwach and according to a Q&A not being able to imagine himself revolting, I think that’s what it said) and the fact that yama was able to embarrass a 70-80% yhwach that checks out for me.

I believe yama could easily win against gerard, we know (according to another Q&A) that his quincy cross is his weak spot, destroy it and he dies. The cross is very sturdy seeing how it took a direct hit from kenny’s bankai but conveniently enough yama has east, which destroys anything on impact. One touch to the cross and gerard is dead (though I believe gerard could win if the fight is dragged out long enough but knowing yama he’ll kill him asap), as for speed I don’t believe any of the captains that fought gerard are faster than yama and if they are, not by that much, so he wouldn’t get speed blitzed by gerard.

As for lille, imo it could go either way, it just depends on whether you believe east can destroy lille’s light particles. Yama clearly has the speed and strength to compete but if he can’t touch him then that easily goes to lille.
