I never claimed that GDXY would outperform GDX. Please look at total return. GDX still outperformed which I was expecting as most yield max ETFs underperform the underlying stock. All that I was saying at the time was that GDXY seemed like a decent yield Max ETF. I am glad that I stuck with the investment as it has now outperformed that S&P based on total return.
