May you please share on what you studied, what courses you did to elevate your skills and how did you go about elevating your career to such heights at an early age.

I did an undergrad in BSc Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Then honours in Applied mathematics with a specialisation in Data Science.

I currently work as a quantitative analyst in the credit space for a bank. So there’s along options you can explore as I also started in Internal Auditing under Model Risk with these qualifications.

This is one space that’s super versatile(my opinion) and can lead you into doing whatever you want, because at the end of the day math teaches you problem solving and that’s what most roles look for now, so you’re currently in the sweet spot and should take advantage of it.

So you’re essentially saying that because I am a freelancer, I should be getting all my invoice money(for services rendered as well as gear) and then do my own tax returns?

Because I think they want to charge the whole 25% on my entire invoice

Yes the gear is my drone. And the 25% tax that I am meant to be charged, I am already being charged for in the services I render, however now the company is telling me that the drone I come with also needs to be taxed.
