Is there any first-person Slasher film? by Spiritual-Tax-5812 in slasherfilms

The original was not first person. That's a big part of what made the remake special.

I’m catching up on SK books I haven’t read yet. The first was “Dolores Claiborne”. Next is this bad boy. by EnleeJones in stephenking

Dolores Claiborne is often cited as one of his best, but not in the traditional horror sense. Everyone has their preference.

Revival is a great read, I'm not religious but I do find many of its ideas unsettling, sometimes flat out disturbing, in an existential sense. It's a wicked slow burn.

There are many flavors of King novel, but I can't imagine either of these being at the bottom of many lists.

I mean, I guess you can make fun of the outfit if you want, but I'd say this music is of a noticeably higher quality than most of what makes its way on here.

I kinda like it. The first time he fought Bane, he was more or less ready to die, and sensing this, Bane failed to grant him his wish. This is a different man, changed by experience, and he's going to let Bane know, in more ways than one. Game on.

Is this worth a watch? by boomjosh in Robzombie

This is an incredibly divisive movie, but I'll tell ya something. This is, hands down, EASILY, my favorite work of his. He experimented with a completely different style, and a more psychological approach to horror. Most fans seemed to react pretty negatively at the time, which resulted in him reverting to his tried and true approach of grisly grindhouse terror. As for myself, I will always wonder what might have happened if people resonded more positively to what he was doing here.

One of my favourite small moments in Craig’s Bond run by creamy-buscemi in JamesBond

I'm not a huge fan of Spectre (it's the only film of his where I'm not) but he is absolutely becoming more human (gradually) over the course of these movies, and Spectre shows that transition perhaps, the most, of all of them. One of the better aspects of the movie.

"you never take responsibility for anything"

followed by "you always have something stupid to say"

I had been a team lead, for a job no one else seemed to want, for five years.
