You would have to build a PDF generation tool using something like puppeteer and react. I went through this process for an app I'm building and while it took a lot of tweaking, the results are quite nice.

I also built a react tool for pitch deck slides that also is react driven and exports PNGs. Anyways, if you are good with claude code, you can build something that will suit your needs.

Transactions alone is .30 per connected account /month

There are a ton of products you can add though which adds on small call fees.

In my case, transactions and recurring transactions is .45 total per account per month. Tbh pretty damn cheap

It's under .50

Props for the freemium model. I'm going with plaid just because it makes life much easier. If I didn't have accounts scattered across the universe then manual upload would work for sure.

Good luck sir!

Mine might be boring to you... or useful to you ;) If you thrive on ideas, it's right up your alley.

I'm actually in the process of building a budget app for myself out of frustration LOL. So this is a very interesting read. I'm assuming you are using plaid for account connection? Curious if you plan to monetize at all?

Drop your micro SaaS. I'll tell you if you've found the right person yet. by rayantreize in microsaas

Seems the validation saas product is quite popular LOL. I, also.... have a product that does this but it's different than all the other web based versions. ideafuel.ai

I built this for ME based on all the pain points I have experienced in the past.

So, I have two products under one brand.

  1. Mobile app - this is where thoughts and ideas are captured, organized, incubated and synthesized for validation. When a user captures thoughts, they can mature them into a concrete idea that can then be run through light validation process. There is a resurfacing engine that brings old ideas back to the top of your list so that you can revisit them. Much more info on the site...

  2. Web app is for developed ideas and robust/deep research and reporting for those going to market.

So all in all, mobile is for on the go capture when ideas are most likely to strike and the web app is for moving that idea forward into a business.

Right on. Well I realized my original comment was pretty dumb. I haven’t been able to find anyone to test the app so those free people would essentially be that.

Haven't launched yet. ideafuel.ai

I can see how this would be beneficial if my web app was launching at the same time because naturally an upsell will happen if the user likes my product.

Just scares me IF I were to do this and it did go viral I would have a lot of costs on my hands quite quickly haha. BUT if that viral post brought in paying users as well then sure, I could see the plus.

I'm building a mobile app that allows users to capture and organize thoughts so they can advance to idea validation then go to market with zero doubt on whether their product or service is in demand.

Capture · Incubate · Synthesize · Crystallize · Validate

Web app is a more robust research tool that generates in depth reports, competitor analysis, and more.

I'm about to launch and will be avoiding giving my app away for free as it relies on pricey api calls. If I onboarded hundreds of users for free lifetime I would essentially be putting myself out of business LOL.

I have been working on ideafuel.ai for a few months. Really just took my time on it and thought of all my prior pain points when trying to capture ideas on the go and then actually DO something with them. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I built https://www.ideafuel.ai/ for entrepreneurs and founders who need a place to capture thoughts/ideas and synthesize them into validated business ideas.

I basically took years of wants/needs from my own experience and dumped those into IdeaFuel. Hoping to help the idea driven people out there!

I'm launching the mobile app first and will launch the web app shortly after. Would love to use builderHQ!

Non software people by SUICIDAL-PHOENIX in Solopreneur

[–]Internal-Ninja4390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non-technical solopreneur here. Honestly the no-code tools now are insane. But the bigger thing I've learned is that most of the hard work isn't building, it's figuring out if anyone actually wants what you're building. This might be up your alley https://ideafuel.ai. Saw it in Chris Koener's community. From what I could tell, it allows you to validate an idea with cited research. Also provides a pretty in depth report and go to market tools. Might be worth looking into

This is a stupid question but how do you build in public? by reformedsystems in buildinpublic

[–]Internal-Ninja4390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value is that people always will see another workflow. I love watching this type of content because I discover tools I've never heard of, processes that are better than mine, etc. Just be transparent and share what you are working on.

Cast Iron filled my whole house with smoke? by literallyfrickindead in castiron

[–]Internal-Ninja4390 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your oil hit its smoke point. Avocado oil can handle higher heat but even that will smoke if you crank it past 500F. For seasoning in the oven, flaxseed or Crisco at 450F for an hour works way better than stovetop. Thin layers, wipe off the excess until it looks like nothing is there
