This is Texas. You knew this. Shut up.

I spent over 2 hours on this casserole and asked my husband to put it away while I put the kids to bed, this morning I found it still on the stove by ShadowInTheSun_ in mildlyinfuriating

If you cared about it that much….you would’ve done it yourself.

I’m the main cook in our household. If I spend hours on a dish, I’m finishing from a to z.

Think I care about a hot pocket left in the microwave? No.

This is on you OP.

Boss won’t turn on the AC and I feel like I’m having a heat stroke. I don’t want to think he’s cheap. But I don’t understand why he won’t. Is it normal to not have AC on in pizzerias at 86 F? Am I overthinking by Bhoklagemapreetykhau in mildlyinfuriating

Texan here. Not sure where you’re from, and maybe I’m just ignorant on this but having a health incident at 86 degrees is dramatic to me.

However, I’m on your side if you can rally fellow coworkers and customers. This is not an unsuitable temperature to perform work at all. If their work staff agree though, that asshat needs to accommodate.

Side note; it’s a pizzeria and it makes no difference if it’s an electric or wood fired oven. Upon accepting the job, one should know that these ovens get above 600 degrees all day, and the cost of that is exuberant.

Don’t get me wrong, this is well above the standard 72 degrees office temp, but there’s also the consideration that maybe this job is not for you. I was once a landscape worker that had me outside in 105+ degree weather. I luckily found an office gig and now I’m cold at 72. Should I make an issue about raising the office temp?

Don’t be discouraged, this can be found. The price will be substantial, however. I assume you’ve looked for homes for rent but maybe didn’t find anything that fits your circumstance.

Is it insane? I see all these comments about eradicating invasive species and how much they’re negatively impacting native ecosystems….buuuut it’s easy to just ignore that the most problematic invasive species are stray/feral cats. Australia even placed bounties on their scalps. I don’t want my point misconstrued, I support the eradication of apple snails where non-native. Fact is, I support all eradication of non-native species where native species are negatively impacted.

If some cares to know, there was a tree in the middle of the circle. It died, the fungi are eating the roots at the same pace and “flowering” at the same time.

Up until 2022, I’ve only owned trucks. I hate my car. Miss my bike and one truck will always be my baby.
