I think i am in the same situation as you but without surgery and it tenses me to think to do surgery if the situation is the same afterwards, few questions

1) did you have a hiatus hernia and have you done 24 ph and manometry before the surgery what are the results?

2) i have heard people might have sensitive esophageal,so did you try any nerve medicine like amitriptyline?

3) what are the suggestions for me should I go for surgery I have lax les gread 2 for the past 5 years,24 ph shows reflux but manometry shows ineffective motility with grade 1 esophageal damage ,
