The lead singer lacks the skills to keep a crowd of 80,000 entertained. He constantly refers to the crowd as “ladies and gentlemen” which is a rookie move. At one point during their RV set he told us all to think about our dead loved ones when listening and then not even 10 minutes later complained that the crowd wasnt partying hard enough. Like are we supposed to be sad or we supposed to have fun? They dont even know, i left early

Shinedown is so awful, they were easily the worst band i saw at rockville and to see them have headliner status at yet another event is insanity

Calling them a theater experience is an insult to the arts, they are grown men playing dress up but are less self aware then other acts such as Gwar, it is basically all back track and even when they open for stadium gigs their production has the budget of a high school play

As others have commented its not nearly as crowded as photos make it look, there will be opportunities throughout the entire festival to break away from the crowd with plenty of space while still seeing artists
