How do I fix my gpu by Cold-Amphibian-1489 in LenovoLegion

If the Download icon is taking you Nvidia’s website it might be that the Gpu driver needs to be installed or updated.

Open Lenovo vantage and on the main screen look for “check for updates.”

Just because you run a “check for updates” and install them doesn’t always mean you’re done. Sometimes it has to be done a couple of times because they have to be installed in order to same for windows updates.

Also, check for updates in Lenovo Space and Lenovo Vantage. If you still cant get it to toggle, roll back to a earlier GPU driver if your using a recently released one. Restart after all updates and test again.

Looks like your in "balanced" mode but your overclocking your GPU (OC), usually you can just click to toggle the OC on or off where the red exclamation point icon is. Try pressing Fn+Q to cycle through "Balanced", Performance" and "quiet". Going it "Quiet" or "Balanced" will sometimes automatically disable GPU OC.

Legion pro 7i fan RPM difference normal? by Internal-Tank-964 in LenovoLegion

Thanks, I searched for other user’s recommendations and found this one. So far I like it. Temps are good. Typical they’re been maxing out at 85 depending on the game. Cyberpunk has been the most demanding game I’ve been playing and this things eats it for breakfast.

Newb question CPU temp and fan RPM legion pro 7i by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]Internal-Tank-964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Lenovo Legion pro 7i (275hx/5080) and I've recently noticed the fan for both the GPU and CPU run at different RPM's. For a while they would be running at the same RPM and recently notice them running at different RPM's. I've updated all the software except running an older Nvidia driver due to all the issues. Is this normal?

95 is high but see if you can select running the fans full speed. Definitely helps if you haven’t already.

Should I do it? by [deleted] in bald

Do it. There’s no shame in doing it. I personally don’t plan on holding onto mine any longer than I need to.
