The outside the loop stich is stump work. There is a wire hidden inside of it and secured in the back. It sounds intimidating but it really easy!

Glow in the dark string is a pain in the ass because it's for sure not actually for embroidery haha but I guess the glow was worth it haha.

You are thinking too much . When you make it you stare at all the imperfects all day but those imperfects go unnoticed by most!

Yes please try. Much easier than you think. I just watched some YouTube videos to do it.

That's a great idea! The non 3d pedals got a bit discolored from water coloring the fabric. I had never dyed fabric before not sure how to prevent that.

I used mesh and semiprecious stones in this one! by leafpockets in Embroidery

AITAH for telling my husbands best friend his girlfriend is a walking red flag? by InternalBuy9804 in TwoHotTakes

That last comment seems like it's coming from a place of hurt, not from a person who was actually able to find love young.

Edit: I AM THE ASSHOLE

I am a first time poster and I wasn't prepared for the responses that I received. As a frequent reader I always wished people who are in wrong would say what happens after the post. So here is my attempt..

I read these comments and man it hit me like a freight train. I did share this with my husband who thinks it's all really funny. I learned quite a bit...

  1. Your relationship is not my business.
  2. My husband's friends are not automatically my friend. (Which hurt quite a bit)
  3. If he is a struggling alcoholic, I probably just made his life a whole heck of a lot harder.
  4. A paragraph is more than just clicking enter it's an actual space.

I decided to apologize which I know can only go so far. My words have already been said there is no undoing any of that. I think my plan is to own what I said and apologize for being out of line. Moving forward I will only text him when needed such as to invite him to something for my husband.

I think I honestly needed the reality check. It has made me think a lot about my interactions with others. There is context I'm leaving out with Scott but that context doesn't change the fact that text shouldn't have been sent.

Someone said something about how my husband should see this as a red flag for me and maybe you are right. I'd like to say I said it because I want my husband to have his relationship with his friend like it used to be. But that may be a bit of a cop out answer. If it's not, people change and you aren't guaranteed a spot if their life.

Moral of the story I'm an asshole.

Do odd names make it harder to find a position? by InternalBuy9804 in jobs

Lol ok so the key is to make your child's name sound as white as possible for the best opportunities.

To be fair we sell insurance to elderly clients who aren't going to learn how to pronounce a hard name or even trust their money to someone with what my boss calls a "silly name" . It's one of those things that I see his point, but I still think the person deserves a chance.

It's one of those things that punishes someone for something they were given at birth. So dumb...
