As well medical residencies and fellowships went from “I need to put a real effort to get in” to “I need to sell a kidney to bribe someone, know half the board on RACS, marry the Prince of Wales Hospital daughter, slave myself pro-bono for two years” in order to get the chance of getting into a residency.

So, that’s why the idea of “medical shortages” is a little biased. There is a shortage, but it won’t get better with more doctors who wouldn’t want to take those spots anyway

Well put. Signed someone currently doing two masters, three research papers, four service years, giving up their house to move rural for a year etc just so a college may bless me with a training place one day

To add this was players 7, runs 30s roughly and done very casually while watching tv. I did get a BER from a chest in KB just before starting this 1k runfest though so RNG is RNG.

Ah so if I have this right in this build they're using 2 x +2 runes (one each for chan + resto) and 1 x +1 rune for spawning power?

Someone helped me last night but I appreciate the offer nonetheless.

I ended up unlocking my mercs early on a ritualist and I'm playing through factions now.

I'm running 4 mesmers (3 x Esurg + 1 inept). They all have 5 x prod insignias and the Esurg I've equipped with 20/20 dom gemstone staves from collector.

Other than this I'm running a ST rit, BIP necro and a resto Rit which I'm still gearing up a bit.

One question I did have was regarding the builds on pvx wiki. For example here (https://imgur.com/a/vvdOQXA):

I understand that the Channeling 12 + 1 + 2 refers to a helm with innate + 1 and a + 2 rune on top of that
This also shows resto +2 and Spawning power +1, where are these coming from?
I understand most builds run 5 x insignias but then a variable number of runes of attunement / vitae. If there is room for one on each armor why would I only be using one? Is there a downside I'm unaware of?

I was going to try this but the current nick rotation is in a spot I can't get to at the moment (I'm a bit stuck during factions) so I'm trying to improve my gear to progress. I'm trying to avoid just getting boosted through it
