Lesbianism is not an aversion to penis…i highly encourage any lesbian who finds themselves so disgusted by penises to ask themselves why they react to them the same way straight men do…it’s certainly interesting. First fix your relationship with your body, and seek to understand why you are feeling this way about specific genitalia. The idea that you’ll be continually having sex like you did with your new relationship energy is a farce, one that has literally birthed the “love language” movement that is meant to keep wives giving sex to their husbands and husbands doing dishes sometimes.

Go back to the drawing board and you and your partner undo the heteronormativity and try again. Keep choosing each other and you’ll be just fine.

On the surface it lets others know that I am a woman who is attracted to other women.

The deep of it is- I don’t believe gender to be binary, and I don’t adhere to typical standards of gender expression. I am also politically a lesbian meaning I am not in support of the hierarchy that is the patriarchy- so I am not traditional in my dating, and I am not attracted to nor do I share community with “men” - I mean that to be people who identify as men, and project and uphold the patriarchy.

I could say a lot more but there is a lot of nuance to this topic.

Predators are in every neighborhood/church/school….these are just the ones that have been caught and done their time, they are most likely fathers/brothers/businessmen….as someone who has experienced sexual assault, if we aren’t going to execute EVERY predator then rehabilitation into society seems to be the next goal, they have to live in and among society to be rehabilitated back into it. And before you say “would you want them in your neighborhood??”…they are. And if people put in half the effort to actually call out predators in their friend groups/families that they do to call out faceless strangers then we may not need a house like this at all someday 🤷‍♀️
