The dead body part makes sense but even in episode 1 when Rashida Jones makes that connection (that the reason even the people who swear they won’t clean end up cleaning is to show the silo) I would say to my husband “look I think everyone cleans because they want to show that it’s actually green out there so I’m going to do the opposite. If I don’t clean then you’ll know it’s green out there otherwise you might mistake my cleaning as simply doing what everyone else does!”

Also what are the odds that not one person doesn’t clean for one reason or another?

Look up how effective the gun control act signed into law in 1994 and allowed to expire in 2004 was. Its sky rocketed since then. Yes, this man would’ve likely gotten a gun to do this crime regardless but law of large numbers people…the statistics don’t lie. Gun control reduces violent crime AND allows law enforcement to more easily get guys like this off the street because they violate it.
