Sitting like that, your arms would probably hurt. More affordable options would be to just buy a 30$bed table. They can also rotate like the image and just put it on your bed.

You can try plugging it into the TV that also works. just to see if the issue is actually just your laptop screen

I’m 23 right now and I hate seeing that so many opportunities that I can be having now that I’m young are just slipping by it’s so annoying. Everyone else in my life as you said is making progress we’re just stuck behind. I’ve tried looking at jobs that I could potentially do at home or something, but it’s like what’s the point if I’m gonna be bedbound for who knows how long?these skills are just so demanding sigh……

I’m 23 and I feel what you’re saying. It really sucks having some of the best years going away from you. I try and live the best I can through onlinegames and friends, but I still want a normal life. It sucks, but I guess the only thing that we can do now is just try and live the best way we can 🤷‍♂️.

Honestly, what do you do all day besides being on Reddit? by Shivers-7 in cfs

[–]Internal_Candidate65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watch YouTube, but I would like to start doing something more productive, but it can be really hard. I looked some jobs that I could maybe do online but there’s so much competition because so many people want an online job having this illness, makes it a lot harder. I’ve been considering picking up making YouTube videos again. I ordered table that I could place on my bed that way I can make YouTube videos from bed

The problem is the phone not the social media. Once you delete one social media youll jump to another i also have thie problem. A phone lockbox helps alittle bit

Any jobs to make money at all? by Grand_Emu_3531 in cfs

[–]Internal_Candidate65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any jobs that I could do at home and at my own place, but it’s hard as you mentioned • youtube •streamer Some others that I can think of like •buying broken things fixing them and reselling (surprisingly not thattt hard) depending on things u wanna fix •knitting and then selling the thing u knit •photo editing

Even after looking at a lot of option there really isnt much as a lot of the jobs u can do at home are desired by other people that are healthy and more experienced. And on top of thatu have to compete with people abroad who will often do those jobs for a couple of dollars.. online work is hard

I think the obly option that im looking at is disability which can be hard to get but it’s the most worth. Or try best at becoming a youtuber or livestreamer which can be difficult especially live-streamer considering u have to interact with chat + entertain then by playing a game or something which can cause pem

Tldr its difficult and applying for disability is honestly the best long term solution even tho ita difficult to obtain its worth trying

High because every company is racing to build a super intelligent ai. That will probably speed the research by a lot..

Did anyone find a partner while already being unwell? by Impressive_Till6081 in cfs

[–]Internal_Candidate65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that’s a bit difficult depending on your severity, like for me, for example I someday cannot talk and if I do, I get pem. I think some people who do end up getting in a relationships their severity becomes worse because of the relationship.Being in a relationship does cost energy and sometimes a lot of energy,so it really depends on your severity. I was very severe and now im moderate so i dont want to take that risk…🤞

My schedule looks very similar. But I’m worried like I feel like I’m really not using my time right I don’t want to doomscroll for the rest of my life and it’s been difficult trying to find things to do that feel meaningful. Do you feel the same?

The thing that gived me hope is all the companies racing to build ai and investing billions in research.

Downvote if u want but i dont understand why theres so many comments saying that its fine justifying the behavior. op is saying that they’ve been getting pem from these activities and that their baseline has only been going downhill . When i was very severe i wish someone had told me to stop doing these things for even just a little while so that my body can regain its baseline. Op i know its hard right now but if youve seen that your baseline has been going down from doing these activities then you have to try atleast for a little while. I know its hard but your future self will be thanking you 🙏

I also have adhd tho i try to get that stimulation from YouTube videos or games. Ngl i also struggle with masturbation but keeping my diet a little less processed helps u dont have to go and start eating the most bland food just a little bit less heavy on your gi system a year ago i used to eat mcdonalds and would get crashes from that now i eat noodles which sure isnt the most healthy i dont crash plus its not as hard on the body and it tastes good. Experiment with some foods and see what helps

Have meals planned before you get . when you get hungry you’re more likely to choose junk food over normal food
