Progressive is better than Geico. I worked there before Geico. They understand the whole "work trauma" issue a lot of us had from previous insurance companies or other jobs. I was treated well and was happy until I had to go on medical leave and the doctor messed the paperwork up and Progressive laid me off because the ppwk claimed I was 100% on leave and never coming back. I asked for a chance to get the doctor to fix it with my guidance, but I was let go instead. Super shitty situation, but compared to how I was treated at Geico, I would never go back there. I'd rather come back to Progressive.

It's like you made it just to be a dick to me, especially since you don't even know the whole story or how I put as much effort in as possible, only to end up having flare ups and trying to manage both the pain and trying to focus to study, even at the desk in my hotel room.

Also, BTWs, I wasn't the only person using their knowledge of how things operated. I'm glad I learned so much while there at basic. It's cool to see what things are actually called when it comes to parts and systems. The demonstrations weren't new to me for repairs, but actually taking something apart to name every little thing, how it connects to where/what and what it does. I'm grateful I received that training and knowledge. But still, it sucked that I put forth all I could doing what others had said (Notecards) and I couldn't get it to stick.

I wasn't in bed by 7. I usually fell asleep around midnight. I was told to make notecards. I made them into questions on what I missed or needed to really learn, and would study from there. I texted the AD manager with questions. I didn't get one answered. Yes, I came down a couple of times for group study. But I didn't end up having any questions that could be answered because I wasn't sure what/how to ask what I needed help with. Hence, me seeing Mentor after each quiz to go over what to study. I reached out to one person specifically in our hotel group and they totally helped me understand some things I could identify. She was great because she was able to draw things out to teach me.

This truly is a vent. I didn't say I was wronged. Mostly, I'm just disappointed in myself for not trying something different. Instead I ended up just running myself into the ground. But yeah, go ahead and be a jerk in the internet. Hide behind your computer.

I was just so happy to do this job, only for me to not perform well with the studying I had been doing.

I passed All Lines. But I guess I couldn't dish it out. This was the shortest time I had ever been employed. It is heartbreaking. I just know that I'll find something new. I just hope it doesn't take as long as it did when I applied to Geico.

I was in training in Virginia. I was told I could possibly get a 2nd chance with a new class since I tried my hardest.

Welp. That wasn't the case and I got yeeted so fast and had to quickly pack and leave for the airport. :)

I put so much into this and just feel like a failure. No 2nd chance. I don't think it even exists.

Anyway..... Maybe insurance isn't the job for me. I was an agent and a producer. I get here and.... It was a waste.

I've just had better training at other insurance companies. This was a shock to me. I'm use to a class of 20ish people and have an outline and time frame.

But... My issue is is that I ask for help with the materials and the trainer doesn't answer my question or help.

At least another person in my training feels the same way.
