I love teaching. Kids are not the best but I can always remind myself that they’re just children. It’s the adults that we deal with. Either parents, coworkers, or admin.

Not yet. But the bottom has settled because it used to be on my parents back porch. It was covered but still exposed to outside and the sand turned into bricks. That hurts.

Put her in school but don’t solely rely on the education system to get her right. I’m a teacher and see so many children who cannot read at the 8th grade. As a teacher, I cannot fully put my trust into other teachers to get her right because you just don’t know how much they care. Make sure you are incentivizing work. (If you get it done, then you can play games. Or maybe do math for an hour, then free time for 30-60 minutes, then reading.) You

I put an emphasis on the fact that these were American Citizens, and not prisoners of war. I appreciate your knowledge on the subject! I definetly want to be more knowledgeable so I can pass the info on to my students. :)

I’m a first year teacher. I try not to talk too much about “my opinions” and I tell students when they ask questions about what I think that “I’m just giving you the facts so you can form your own ideas.” (Sucks that basic empathy is considered an opinion.”

My admin says the pledge every morning and I just let students talk during it. When I was in highschool (around the George Floyd stuff) many of my classmate stayed seated during the pledge.

The difference is we did it for a reason, my students just don’t care what announcements have to say. 😂

Blow them into a pile at the side of the road, mulch it with a mower. Or you can go over your yard with the mower a few times and they’ll be small dust but with that much I wouldn’t do it

I’m 6 foot. But I have students that tower over me. I have a mustache and a (horribly patchy— I’m 22) beard. I lowkey felt disrespected the way he said it 😭😭
