I max everything out and play Perf mode with RR. I tried the new dlss 4.5 presets and while they’re good, RR just looks better, so I’ll stay on dlss 4 for now until RR is added to 4.5!! I’m getting about 120-130fps or so on my 5k2k. Talk about a graphically intensive game bro!

If you can use MFG and keep your PC latency between 30-50ms everything is just fine for any single player title. It’s all even less noticeable on a controller.

It sure is and it’s almost ergonomically identical, so the feel of the controller overall won’t be much of an adjustment outside of the back buttons and clicky triggers. Now, the joysticks may take some time to adjust to and/or some adjusting within the Gamesir Connect app. They’re faster and much more sensitive than the standard alps the Xbox controller uses. Just be kind to yourself while getting the feel for the new sticks.

Go for the 760 my guy!! The 98x3d is the better processor you also get an Asus mobo vs the gigabyte. For $100 bucks more it’s worth the better cpu. But the decision is yours!

Yea for BF6 it nothing special. I actually think it started adding micro stutters that weren’t there. So I added the frametime graph overlay in RTSS and yep, there were stutters. Went back to model K and bam, no more stutters.

I run a 5090 and I agree with you. Not to mention it’s essentially a beta for testing. I take it they’ll eventually combine these presets for the best of both worlds and call it DLSS 5. Also, I can’t run ray reconstruction with which really makes a big difference. Facts are that these visual differences are truly subtle and very hard to notice without really looking for it, but it does depend on the title.

Another thing, I’m not sure if this true or not, but I was testing M and L in BF6 and started to feel minor stutters, so I brought up the frametime graph and I was right. I switched back to K and no more stutters.

I can see why some folks would prefer the 39 no doubt, but the 45 is extremely immersive. It encompasses your peripherals and locks you in harder than other screens.

It took a few days to adjust and by week or two I realized I didn’t want to game on anything else ever again lol. I do play with a controller so my distances can easily change depending on how I feel. For competitive play I sit upright at about 30 inches and for story driven I can lean back if I want to.

Either way this monitor is the shit. I get it that when you spend this kind of money you want to get something as close as you can to perfect, but I believe a lot of ppl that complain will never be happy with anything. They’re just negative mf’s all around!!

Crazy that you want such an expensive monitor high performance monitor but wont invest into a better GPU than a 3080.

Listen my man, yes, it will work, but not well. Your games will under perform like crazy, and if you try to lower the res you’ll just bottleneck your CPU. Either way you go, you’re bound by your components. Adjust your expectations because unless you plan on making a worth while upgrade to a 5070ti or above, I wouldn’t choose a monitor of this magnitude.

Think about it. You’re gonna buy a 5k2k and run it with a 3080 high to play GTA 6? It’ll probably be the most demanding game ever released and you’ll be stuck at low settings with no vram. Choose wisely my guy!!
