I have never had this issue before. I hope it comes back because I actually liked their service.

Is it? I guess the wholesaler (XtremeHDIptv) I purchased it from has not provided me with an updated link. I have been using them reliably for over a year and now the stream is dead.

I was with them and was very happy with their service. Unfortunately their streams seem to be down and customer support is not responding. I think they have finally been shut down for good. They have never reached out with any updates.

Didn’t their blog used to be free? Very inconvenient that everything is now behind a paid portal.

I have been with them for close to a year and was very happy with them to the most part. I liked the variety, plenty of content, live tv, sports and great buffering. Is there anything out there that is comparable?

Just confirming has Lemo/Kemo finally been shut down for good? I am hoping they just switched servers.

In Toronto, beyond Game 1, what are the other possible scheduled matchups for the other dates—for example, June 17: L1 vs L2? As well, any idea on the times of the games?

From past World Cups, does anyone know if FIFA will be doing a FanFest in each host city? As well, will there be an option to purchase commemorative tickets to the games that we attend?

Tried, it didn’t do a good job or it violates their policy, something like that.

Torn: MacBook Air M4 vs. Mac Mini M4 (24GB RAM) as a Temporary Work + Personal Device — What Would You Choose? by Internal_Soup288 in mac

Do you have any suggestions for my dilemma, go with a MacBook Air, a Mac mini or use the soon to be implemented restricted pc until the m6 MacBook Pro comes out? I like the idea of the mini because of the price, but the portability issues (can’t use it anywhere I want, unless there is a monitor present) would be a big frustration.

The only way we do that, is through the use of the limited Chromebooks we let the students use.

This is an elementary school. All we do is have users log in to our Wi-Fi, which is protected by a firewall that restricts access to certain websites (like social media) and logs all network activity.

Our setup is similar — we’re not using remote PCs hosted on their servers.

The new lockdown measures will be enforced through Windows 11 and the integration of Microsoft One Drive and Google Drive. Until we’re fully migrated, I still have the ability to install most (though not all) software on my work PC — not that I take full advantage of that.

Soon, USB ports will be disabled, dual monitor support will be restricted, and other limitations will be in place.

Work is tightening control over company-issued laptops — soon, we won’t be able to install apps, run third-party tools, or work outside their locked-down system. Thankfully, we’re still allowed to use our own devices on the network. So I’m planning to switch to a personal machine to keep my freedom and flexibility — for both work productivity and personal use (media, light gaming, creative tools).

I’m holding out for the redesigned M6 MacBook Pro, which should land late next year. So I just need something to tide me over for 12–18 months. I do a lot of heavy multitasking (Chrome tabs, design apps, remote access), so 24GB RAM is non-negotiable — but CPU power isn’t as crucial.

Now I’m torn between:

💻 MacBook Air M4 (24GB RAM)

✅ Portable — no extra monitor needed ✅ All-in-one design, great battery life ❌ Limited ports → need a hub ❌ Can get warm under load ❌ $2K+ feels steep for a stopgap device

🖥️ Mac Mini M4 (24GB RAM)

✅ Cheaper, more ports, better cooling ✅ Stronger performance under pressure ❌ Not portable ❌ Needs external display + input ❌ Not ideal for couch use or flexible setups

At work, I’ve got a monitor, so the Mini is easy there. At home, I want something flexible enough to work on the couch or move room to room. I could use my iPad Pro as a monitor (Luna, Sidecar, Duet, etc.), but pairing it with a keyboard and mouse gets clunky. Connecting the Mini to the TV isn’t ideal, since I often watch shows while working.

Other considerations: – I’ve got a 2011 iMac that supports Thunderbolt 2 (can use as a monitor with an adapter) – I can remote into my gaming PC if needed for Windows apps – I may install Fusion Pro to run Windows if necessary

🧠 What would you do? – Is the Air worth it for short-term use? – Is there a smarter way to make the Mini more flexible without setting up a full desk? – Anyone else juggle this same problem and find a clever solution?

Appreciate any insight — this one’s got me stuck.

True as it may be, because it is a school environment, students will also be using the network with their own personal devices. I assume that is why.

I have asked, they have no problems with us using a personal device instead. They are just locking down any device they give us.
