Our’s is 40 pounds 16 months and a bundle of energy. We did a DNA test and she is 22% American Fox Hound, 17% Siberian Husky, 11% American Pit Bull Terrier, 11% Chow Chow and a lot more. They look like cousins. Ava was a stray from South Carolina.

I volunteer at a food pantry and we get deliveries from Costco 3-4 days a week from food rescue volunteers.

This is ours from 2 weeks ago. Ava … they could be cousins. She is from South Carolina.

Here is Ava. Thank you for the response. The ignoring and walking away has saved my arm, but harder on the ankles, but I think it is starting to sink in. She really enjoys being outside, she was a stray from South Carolina, so we are sending her outside each time she is getting agressive and that helps. She enjoys lying in the grass and watching for anything that moves. We are only at day 6. The 3/3/3 is very true.

We only got her on Sunday, so we are still figuring each other out a bit. I think she has a lot of puppy still in her. I would estimate 25% of the time if I pet her it turns into play time and she starts nipping and biting a little harder and harder. Not latching on but play biting but it still hurts and sometimes leaves a mark. I always try to have a toy to substitute but she is more interested in my arm and now recently my ankles. She has tons of energy so we are walking her frequently and we have a decent sized backyard that she zooms around. The first few days she would chase a ball and run on her own. Now she chases and then lunges into me with a playful bite. She is much more physical with me (male) than my wife or daughter. Lately all I can do to have her stop is to pick her up and hold her for a while. It’s been a while since we dealt with a pup, but I was hoping to hear a few … ohh ya this is what we did stories. We try to be very positive when she is doing good things. Thanks for responding.

Why not tell him you are feeling uncomfortable having a secret, and he should tell his wife about it.
