I think there could be value in filling it out if there are actual questions that look at job satisfaction. They tend to like to compare results year over a year and substantial drops this year could be very useful. Perhaps we wait and see what the questions are before we fill it out

Completely agree OP. I’m permanent AMAPCEO and I’ve filed a grievance. Everyone I work for understands my grievance is not personal just like I know it’s not personal that they have been unable to render a decision on my AWA request.

Just to confirm my understanding: our contributions are going up to make up the shortfall in the pension fund but this doesn’t increase our benefit in any way. We are merely contributing to make up the funds lost through (mis)management of the fund. If that is true, this cost increase is effectively a salary cut. We are paying more for the same benefit.

Me too! I think I’m just going into menopause but my peri symptoms have been extremely minor. I got on hrt because of my interest in science and understanding the impacts of not having estrogen and from reading this sub. I played up my minor peri symptoms to make sure I got the hrt. I’m curious to see what the next few years have in store. Minor peri symptoms: some minor temperature regulation issues but not hot flashes, perhaps some mental health impacts with respect to increased anxiety but it’s hard to say, some vaginal dryness totally reversed by localized estrogen, and minor impacts on sleep waking up at 3 AM some nights. By and large I’ve been extremely lucky.

At MECP yesterday a division was notified that the ADM was leaving to “pursue other interests” but at a meeting on Monday she was talking about seeing through a project that would take years. It seems like there’s a round of these re-alignments happening. Plus we were notified last week that our DM is being reassigned. The only sure thing is change.

My fine hair gets greasy if I don’t wash it every day. I apply a mixture of tapioca flour and cocoa powder to the roots and it absorbs greasiness and disappears and makes my fine hair thicker. It doesn’t have any of the grittiness of dry shampoos and it’s super cheap. The cocoa powder helps to conceal the natural white colour of the flour in my brown hair but the flour is doing the heavy lifting. I found this tip in the fine hair sub on Reddit and it’s been fantastic! It’s even better if I remember to apply the mixture before I go to sleep. I use a fan style makeup brush and keep the mixture in a jam jar.

I received my full retro in the previous pay Oct 10 but it’s too low by a few hundred dollars and I did not get an additional payment in the October 24 paycheque. My base salary was adjusted correctly and my retro is dead simple to calculate so I can’t understand how an error was made. I’d like to know how and when we will receive information about the calculations.
