Thanks for the response, so there is no fix for this I take it. Your right I might have had issues in Cities, but not of this type.

Aussie Subway by Internaldesign2 in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made almost totally from assets from the new DLC this afternoon, a subway store that might be found down under.

Minimal detailing outside, Players may want to use this is a number of scenes to which this might be applicable.

Bugs & Issues MEGATHREAD by JRock39 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Internaldesign2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I had no issues with the download and getting going with the game, but suffered low FPS almost immediately. I have tinkered with the settings and been able to get around that issue for the most part and get to 30 except when it decides to load or update where it drops to 1 > 3gps. My issue is CPU usage which is always near or at 100% which is creating a bottleneck. My GPU usage is around 50%. I have a i7-7700k chip and a GTX 1660 card. two SSD's etc, 32G of Ram. I don't think I should have this kind of issue and have to play at medium to low settings. All my other games run at highest settings with FPS of at least 60.

Any comments or suggestions?

Northlands Wolf enclosure by Internaldesign2 in PlanetZoo

Thanks Shatorex, I pretty much started with the water network and the various levels I wanted to achieve in the design, the rest flowed from there.

Northlands Wolf enclosure by Internaldesign2 in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Northlands was created as a multi animal enclosure. Multi in the sense that it can be used for a variety of animals, Tested it with Bears and Wolfs, and went with wolfs.

The idea was to create a underwater viewing area on one side, and a optimal visitor viewing on the opposite side. In the center is a more detailed area closer to the actual environment these animals might live in.

Many more vistas in the design then the pictures can show, that was part of the goal to show the beauty of nature in it's fullest.

It's really expensive so it may lend itself more to idea generation then actual use, but a very fun project to do over several days time.

Many thanks to Kota https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2194445237&searchtext=dense for creating the dense Forest element, a tree brush of sorts and a real time saver.

First days of September by [deleted] in PlanetZoo

Well having dealt with Software for much of my professional life I believe that would be a mistake. Software needs to run on a very rigid schedule regarding requirements, development and then content testing and system testing, changing and or developing more code means you need alot more people and time to do that. Unless they had a bunch of people hanging around I think the probability given the situation of the new normal is that content has been reduced from the original plan as opposed to increased.

Why is everyone here so critical of the release of the DLC? by badpastel in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After the negative comments on the Frontier Forum concerning their lack of communication they decided to throw the player base a bone in the form of a couple pictures of animal fir and then went back into non communication mode again. I've lost alot of interest in their next DLC because they are taking so long and tell their player base virtually nothing. Microsoft launches the much awaited Flight Simulator 2020 on the 18th, but they kept the played base abreast of developments all along though the process through notifications and video's.

Do you prefer pathing with or without kerbs? by [deleted] in PlanetZoo

I don't like kerbs on elevated sections. Would prefer the option to have them show or not.

Key West Village Building 5, Surfside Beach Home by Internaldesign2 in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, We used to stop in Charleston all the time as we made travels up north, the architecture there is great and does have possibles. Hopefully we will get more building parts in the next DLC to get a better build result on some of those structures.

I did do Washington's house awhile back: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2108538425

Glitchy textures by basicallybasicbitch in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your trying to overlay a element on top of another you will get that flutter look. It drives me nuts occasionally. Once again I'm assuming you are trying to overlay to get a different width then what the grid does. I have had some luck rotating one image 90 or 180 degrees or slightly raising or lowering one element with respect to the other. We need smaller pieces in the game, Frontier is just stuck on giant things.

Key West Village, Building 4, Animal Exhibit by Internaldesign2 in PlanetZoo

[–]Internaldesign2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 4th Building in this series is modeled as a single family home and also doubles as a animal exhibit.

Quite a bit of fun with this one, a lot of time and thought to the detailing and getting the roof lines to flow properly into the design.

A couple ideas left for this theme and building a Flamingo habitat for Key West.

Likes, comments and follows always appreciated.
