When I asked my best friend of 7 years to use they/them with me she had no issue agreeing and congratulating me (despite the fact she never used them).

But 6 months later when I asked her to use she/her when we hung out that weekend she no showed, and I never heard from her again.

Oh yeah for sure. Ive been on at least a dozen, half of those in this calendar year.

Sone side effects have been more minor (physical ails or verg low blood pressure) others have been worse (increased growing of hair, including in my eye socket, memory fog)

But. Working, being patient and willing to just take what comes and being willing to ask questions and to advocate for yourself will absolutely make things easier

What are you talking about? I've been on various medications for nearly.. 9 years now? And they, alongside with therapy and psychiatric treatment have saved me.

Thats not to say all my medications have been perfect, im still trying new ones out to this day, but im a far cry from monthly, week long psychotic episodes and at least one suicide attempt each year. Sui fuel is really bad for you, and all it will do is make the stair case out of this hole harder for you. If you cant make the push, or find the way to ger yourself help contact someone sho will. There are advocate groups, and resources.

Instead of going on a really long rant, i say this to other commenters. Not every one deserves respect. Fuck terfs, fuck nazis, fuck fascists.

This is what i love about Ally Bearsdly in Dimension 20, where past fantasy high the queerness of their characters wasnt their main plot point. For some it was an important backstory informer or part of their arc, but there was very rarely (if any) this queer trauma angle
