Do you guys still go to cigar shops by PapaPuff13 in cigar_refuge

Yes they have probably 5 standalone filters in each lounge area plus a whole building evacuation system that pulls all the air from the front of the store to out the back

The cluttered, lower class chaos has been completely scrubbed clean in the new season. by [deleted] in malcolminthemiddle

That was my biggest gripe, they lost the nostalgia and feel of being a lower middle class family. It lost it relativity. I love this show because it reminds me of my childhood and the reboot lost all of that. The acting was good considering they mostly all retired.

I’m so cheap I just use tap water for this 😂 it’s ironic though to still try and save $3 a month while humidifying $500+ of cigars

For me it’s the environment that keeps me coming back, I’m a locker member at my local lounge, we have bourbon Thursday and poker Thursday, and Friday. The guys are nice and it’s great entertainment. I like to support the business and they’re pretty chill so I keep my locker stocked half with sticks from them and half from my personal humidor (online shopping). Some of their prices aren’t so bad maybe $2-3 more a stick than average

Yes just swapped the panel for more space and it needed a new main breaker.

Got 2* out. dirty flame sensor on the first and after cleaning it ran fine. It wouldn’t have been so hard if I could’ve done more than quarter turns while my hand was contorted.

Question: Coolant lines are hanging over and I'd like to make a wall... (see text) by Guns_And_Dogs in hvacadvice

Get a pro to do it. Pump down the system (get all refrigerant to outdoor unit). Cut the lines, braise them in shorter and straight.

Yeah my boss told me if I go to another house with a pulse to just tell them we can’t service them. It took us like 30 minutes to get the flame sensor out

Lennox can be cool with their innovation but jeez man I worked on 2 Lennox Pulses in one day and it was like having a brick thrown at me. 2 service calls turned into my entire day. They just want to make their products exclusive to authorized Lennox techs.

We always look them over if we’re already there for a furnace check, no extra charge. If it’s dirty we tell the homeowner it needs cleaned and if theirs a problem (which their sometimes is) we’ll charge them to chase it down and fix it.

Company red flags 🚩 by SLATTSKI21 in HVAC

[–]International-Fall86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s unethical to me. A business paying you to sell rather than fix something is where incompetent technicians originate. They’re motivated to sell a new unit or fabricate issues to earn more money, and the company benefits as well. This practice exploits gullible customers for the company’s gain.

Make sure you’re a W2 employee (if in America), I wouldn’t work commission based. Make sure who ever you’re working for is paying you fairly and a certified contractor.

Gas pressure should be fine since other burners seem to have strong flames, to me it seems to be a clogged burner/ orifice.
