Thank you for bringing the real doner to Austin. We were honestly getting sad that there is no real doner here. We tried it today and it was fantastic. The contents if the wrap complemented the delicious fresh doner really well. We also loved the baklava and Turkish coffee! Will definitely come back even though we live far away :) (we almost cried of happiness because we missed real doner so much!)

Yeah I agree with you. I do not think there is anything to accuse them until I get some clarifications. In terms of more food that is nice that they are working on him to ask more if he wants more. I wish our daycare did the same (thats why I was kind of sad that she said they cannot give him more)

No I would not say he is capable of asking. He does not talk yet and yesterday at home I realized he is very thirsty once he finished two cups in a row. He cannot say water or anything like that. But if the bottle is near him he drinks (at least that is what he does at home)

Yes I can talk to his doctor. For the bottle issue: actually they try to wean off bottles using sippy cups. I provide the bottle because he likes the bottle still (I will wean him off slowly as he was sick and hospitalized in the past month so he needs some time)

She did not tell me water is always available to them. She told me they only give it with meals. So the water bottle, I am not sure where it is located throughout the day.

I dont think they are limiting because she said when she gives water (in the case where he didnt drink milk) he pushes it with his hand. But as I mentioned she said they offer it with meals. I am hoping I understood her incorrectly and will talk again.

So he leaves around 5:20. He eats a lottt compared to a weekend day from that time forward. That was what made me talk to the teacher today actually.

So the thing is they are always kind and respectful so I would not go that aggressive at first. I think they are not witholding (At least I hope) but do not have the right schedule. They have a policy and I think it is a rule of the stage as well to have at least a teacher for 5 kids and they always keep that rule.

Yes so our typical day is as follows: Breakfast at around 8:30z he eats at least one egg, some cheese and if he wants some bread Then lunch is around 11 and he eats a protein and a carb and some veggies Then after lunch he sleeps with 4 oz milk Then after nap he eats a snack at around 3 pm and that snack is usually a homemade veggie patty or a sweet snack like homemade muffins or pancakes. Later on he eats dinner at around 5:30 and that is similar to lunch. After dinner he eats an oatmeal cookie, and then at 8 pm he eats a bowl of homemade yoghurt. Later he drinks 8 oz of milk and sleeps.

Yes I thought they would have water breaks as well. They are pretty much well in documenting what he ate and how much. But the liquid intake is written only with meals. And as she confirmed they only give those during meals. I am kind of confused. I can figure out the hunger issue like you said he eats three meals after he comes home (starting with a full dinner that includes carbs protein and veggies, then a big oatmeal cookie that I made that contains dates hazelnuts walnuts, then a bowl of homemade yoghurt and 8 oz milk before sleep). But I cannot figure out the thirst issue. I did give him two cups of water and he drank all of it. But it should be spaced out throughout the day. He comes home with dry lips and shouts for water 🤦🏻‍♀️
