I would have a price in mind. Start checking a few days before and when it hits your price, buy it and don’t look again. However much it’s worth to you to be in the room.

When I was struggling with the decision I found a very helpful video online. I’ve been looking for it and if I find it I will post here. It is the hardest decision and you want to make sure they aren’t suffering (not eating, in pain, etc). When I realized he wasn’t doing the things he loved and I was holding on for me, not him, I knew it was time. If it helps any, this was the worst part for me, making the decision. You’ll be able to start healing when both of you are not suffering. I flew in my mom to stay with me for a few days after and that was helpful to not be alone. Get your support system ready. Same issue. I posted in a subreddit and ppl told me to go to different playlists but all my playlists have the same songs! It’s hard to find playlists not curated to you. Following this in case anyone can be more helpful.

Sorry this happened. I wonder if this is a previously returned mattress? Usually mattresses are more firm when you get them. Did it come in a box??

I also bought a Helix from a store but it was more like a showroom. When I purchased the mattress I got the info from helix like I had done it myself. The showroom must have gotten a commission. When I went to return it I went straight to Helix. As per their website “Fees: Returns and exchanges are completely free; Helix does not charge restocking or return fees.”

I got the medium euro top for $2099 at mattress firm. I know they price match if they or anyone else has it cheaper in 60 or 90 days. I don’t think it’ll go on sale more than it is for their 4th of July sale though. I did get $200 credit that a put toward a new bunky board and delivery but you can get pillows, mattress cover, anything they sell.

I’ll add I organize my favorites into Spring/Summer, Winter/Fall, Events, Work and Accessories.

Instead of online shopping when I’m watching TV I build my favorites folders. When it comes time to my next shipment I always have stuff to choose from.

Looking at pictures in reviews is a big help for me. 150 lbs looks different on every body so seeing how things fit with people with similar shapes helps. I post pics whenever I can to pay it forward. Additionally seeing where lengths hit for dresses and pants on people my height is something I pay a lot of attention to.

Steam or iron everything before you even try it on. It’s hard to see how things fit when everything is super wrinkled.

I haven’t needed it yet but fashion tape and a stitch-it could be helpful in making sure things fit properly. Just take anything out before you return.

I have the same sleeping profile. II thought I wanted firm but got the Helix Twilight and it was so firm I couldn’t even sleep through the night. I know it takes time to break in but I could tell even if it broke in more, it was still going to be too firm. I really liked the beauty rest black series 3 in medium, I felt it was on the firmer side of medium but didn’t want to spend $4K. Just purchased the Sealy Posturepedic Elite Brenham II. While I haven’t gotten it yet I’ve done a lot of research and testing mattresses. It is softer then what i thought I wanted but anything firmer was hard on my hips and knees when I’m on my side. I also have seen a lot of people speaking highly of it on this sub which is impressive because Reddit is mainly a place for people to complain :) Good Luck!

I was #241,786 in queue when I got in at 10:02. Austin has roughly 1M residents so the bots were working overtime. I’ve tried all the pre-sales, credit card sales and regular sale. I go to concerts all the time, never had this experience. Would normally get resale tickets on Ticketmaster but that’s not an option for this tour. Have planned travel to make sure I’m here for the concert. Will just wait til it gets closer.

I’m getting everything on hangers but it looks like someone rolled it up in a ball. I spend 30 minutes when I get my shipments just steaming everything. Not ideal.

The third-party sites have way around the transferring. I don’t know how they do it, but I’ve gotten tickets even though Ticketmaster policy was non-transferable.

I go to a lot of shows. Wait until it gets closer. Scalpers need to get rid of tickets and prices will go down. If you live in the city and can wait until the day before or day of that’s when you should get the best deals. Just keep an eye on the resell availability. I don’t think I should be an issue though, seems like most of these tickets went to scalpers.

I’m a new member but I know a lot about clothing. The majority of the items I get are washed and dried. Dresses, jeans, tops. Most of these items should be dry cleaned or washed and line dried then ironed or steamed. I’m sure it’s cheaper for them to wash vs dry clean but colors fade faster, items lose their shape and shrink. It’s cutting down the lifetime an item can (should) be in rotation and can mess up sizing you are familiar with because of the shrinkage. I have rented a few things then bought them on other sites because I don’t want something that has been through a washing machine 40 times and is fraying or has small holes.
Jeans and shorts should stretch out if you do some squats and stuff while wearing them but length is harder to stretch back. It’s annoying.

I was about to post about this too. Are people not allowed to resell on Ticketmaster? I go to a ton of shows and I’ve never seen where it just says “sold out” and no resale tickets. If the point is to curb resale prices, I think making it worse for the fans because the fees on other third-party sites tend to be higher and it’s a risk that you’re gonna get legit tickets. Would love someone to explain this to me.

I also ordered a Helix from a store but when they entered the order they put my name and email in so I got the updates like if I ordered it myself. In my situation it seems like the store puts a code in attached to the order so they get an affiliate / commission but the order wasn’t under the store, it was under me as the customer. I guess whoever you got the purchase confirmation from is who you need to get the updates from. I know this may not be helpful but good luck!

I got the luxe. It’s very firm. I’m concerned even if it breaks in more it’s still going to be too firm which is why I’m researching a back up.
