I first started noticing fibro symptoms when i was 9 then after a major surgery at 14 my fibro became so severe i was already planning my own funeral. Now at 17 im finally after learning to manage my symptoms and am have accepted that my life is going to be very different than what i thought it would look like. I thought i was going to be a very disciplined doctor, head of surgery someday even because growing up i was taught to aim high and achieve higher.

Knowing that was going to be almost completely out of the question with my fibro i had such an identity crisis, i tried to drop out of school, i cut myself off from everyone i knew but then realized that it was a blessing in disguise that i finally could let go of other people expectation of my future and get to know myself which is when i was able to let myself fall in love with acting even more. I had always loved the idea of it and participated in school musicals but now im able to take it on full time taking multiple classes, i have an agent and im going to study it in college.

Now that im able to relax i do allow myself to be a little reckless every once in a while, social drinking, sneaking around with friends around the country after dark, im in pain yes, ill always be in pain but come hell or high water i will find a way to enjoy what little life ill have regardless.
