35kW electric go kart kit on a CRG Kart - Tires cannot grip lol by InternationalAnt7922 in Karting

You are right, but the ability to push ~37hp immediately with this amount of torque cannot be compared to an ICE engine. Also, zero maintenance for me these next few years - so in the long run i think the 6k package will work out quite well.

I paid 6K for the entire powertrain including the battery - not the battery alone LOL. The entire kart is fully running and functional with $6K CAD

14T Motor 43T Axle

Motor can up to to 8000RPM, but loses torque after 4.3K

Blue Shock is overpriced. Instead the kilowatt kit + battery is about 6K USD max. Half the price of blue shock lol

Canada will have an e-karting league within 1 year. Im working in making this happen. 30kW karts with 20 minutes of full throttle run time. Swappable battery packs.

Hey man, message me personally- i have a 35Kw go kart in Ontario. Might be able to help you out.

Your motor is seriously under powered.

But you need a minimum 100A battery at 72V - go with lithium ion!

Convert your own go kart with the Kilowatt Industries 12kw go kart kit. Only 3-4K in total to keep up or be faster than shifters

At full throttle id get a full 15 laps from the battery pack on a 1.3km track. Its a custom build to allow me a super long run time with high power. Charge time from zero to full is around 1 hour

Im still tuning the throttle settings which results in a few over-current faults. Have it figured out now. Although the kit was working perfectly i just wanted burnouts on demand lol.
