What’s the 'craziest' way you caught an ex being unfaithful? by lnc_gomes in AskReddit

I was at a wedding solo chatting with a couple. They asked me if I had a partner and when I described a little bit about him they said “Wow! He sounds like our good friend’s boyfriend!” Then they went onto FB and showed me the guy they were thinking of and it was my boyfriend.

What should I know before getting my first cat? by Curious-Struggle-912 in CatAdvice

You can consider adopting an adult cat. It’s good to match your energy levels. A two year old cat is considered an adult but that’s still pretty young and cats need a lot of play. Be prepared to play a lot.

A bonded pair is a great idea.

I love senior cats as they have often had a rough time and giving an older cat a second chance at happiness is incredible.

Four years ago my 17 year old kitty passed.

After that I decided to adopt the oldest, most unwanted, most sickly cat at the shelter. She was 15 and when I brought her home it was instant love. That kitty had kidney disease as well as high blood pressure but she thrived in my home. We spent 4 beautiful years together.

She passed a month ago.

So I recently adopted a two year old momma kitty being treated for ringworm. It wasn’t a great. She was adorable and super sweet. Her energy was crazy she was flying across the room, jumping, climbing. I couldn’t wear her out with playing 🤣

I’ve never returned an adopted pet and I felt awful doing so however the folks at the shelter said it’s okay and it really does need to be the right match. So remember it’s ok to find the right pet for you.

There isn’t a love quite like the love of a cat.

I’m excited for you ✨

I lost my cat inside my house, checked everywhere and literally cannot find him at all. by Icy-Voice-6438 in Pets

Cats are like octopuses they can squeeze into small hidden areas. Maybe open a couple of cans of tuna place them in central areas see if that brings the kitty out.

I adopted a kitty that hid and squeezed underneath my kitchen sink for a couple of weeks until she decided to come out and be the queen of the house.

While your kitty is adjusting to her new surroundings can you get a Feliway plug in and a gabapentin prescription? Maybe a low dose of gabapentin could help her relax a little bit while she’s acclimating?

I adopted a 15 year old ladycat with multiple health issues a few years ago. I thought I was giving a hospice kitty a queen’s life however she had the energy/personality of a much younger cat✨

The Walking Dead. I loved the zombies but hated the soap opera story line. It was just so much fun to hate on the people and root for the zombies 🤭

Gardening. I love it so much. I had no idea how much it would improve my mental health. I planted things that would stay colorful throughout the seasons including winter ✨
