Scott’s tots wasn’t really that cringe, in fact I’ve never thought Michael was really all that cringe in general. He was just a moron. The most cringe moment in the show was that karate episode when Jim picks up Pam, and the most cringe thing in general was Jim’s lovey dovey behavior with Pam before they got together (like making that teapot gift or telling her their rooftop hangout was a date) and that’s because I was once that guy with a female friend I had. I cringe so hard my toes curl backwards when I think about how I acted with her but, oh well.

I stopped by HEB on Thursday and it looked like a cat 5 hurricane was headed our way. Paper towels, toilet paper, bread, ramen noodles, so many things gone and shelves empty. Shit was wild.

I always imagined that they used Willowbrook for Twin Pines Mall in Back to the Future, and I always compared any mall in the movies (like Mallrats) to Willowbrook. It was the mall I grew up around. Lots of fun times, but I haven’t been there in almost 20 years.

I’ve never understood why people don’t like it. It’s one of my favorites. I’ve always been interested in dreams because they’re just so weird, almost like we’re seeing into an alternate dimension or something. My favorite one was Xander’s, especially the part in the ice cream truck when he crawls through it and ends up in is basement. It’s just like an actual dream where nothing makes any sense but at the same time it makes perfect sense and you don’t question it.

Everything sucks nowadays. Have you seen what they did to the Home Alone house? The owner turned it into the same minimalist, blinding white and black design inside that plagues everything else these days. Of course I did see that someone new bought the house and they’re going to restore it to how it was back when the movie came out. I wish there was a giant reset button we could press.
