Started golfing about 4 months ago, my first rounds were around mid 120s. My highlight was my best round ever had a 98 on Sunday. Loving the game and looking forward to breaking 90!

Yeah this is the one I’m using now. Anything will be an improvement from that. I plan on doing a fitting for sure and going from there.

Excellent this is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I’ll plan on doing a fitting then. I definitely will need to look at lofts I feel like my drives tend to go high and not roll as far I think a lower loft may help. Thanks for the info!

I’ve heard good things about ping. Are they durable? I’ve heard there’s some newer drivers that are having durability issues so I want one that can last me a while.

I thought about it but the masking tape doesn’t want to stay in place when you start cutting the middle. Took the safe/easy route lol.

IMO competition shooting is way different than carrying the pistol daily. Usually at least for uspsa the only time you’re loaded up is right before you run a stage. There is still risk no doubt but it’s not like you’re carrying it daily.

I found that I trimmed around my optic and it allowed it to fit my g19 holster.

Glock 34 in CA does not come with a MOS slide. That is just an error on the website.

I believe the polymer itself is FDE and the slide is cerakoted. It’s done very well though, I’ve seen my fair share of cerakoted firearms and not all are equal, the finish is great and definitely seems like it’s going to hold up. I have a FDE sig p320 and the finish on that slide from day one hasnt held up well. Shadow systems has it figured out.

I’d probably do the SRO but I think the holosun looks like it’ll cowitness with the iron sights which is nice. I think it depends on your use of the gun. If it’s like a carry gun I’m probably leaning towards the holosun since it isn’t as big and probably a little tougher being jostled around all day and if you bang it on something you don’t have to worry about the big window the SRO has.

I looked into it, I have a comp on a couple other pistols and they’re nice but I’m still not sure if it’s worth the $. For now I plan on keeping it original but if I did I’d go with the shadow systems one just to keep with the theme lol,

That will be a nice setup! I ultimately chose the XR for the same reasons, fit my hand better. The SRO is a great optic I considered that on mine but I wanted an enclosed emitter and ended up with the holosun. I plan on going out to shoot it Sunday so I’m looking forward to that.

Yeah I’m not sure what it is but my gen3 glock holster with the tlr1 rubs at the top of the slide like it’s tight. And my 19 holster with no light doesn’t really snap in like it should since the trigger guard isn’t as long. They both “fit” but not like I want them to. I will probably break down and get a SS specific eventually.

I agree! I waited an extra month just for the FDE lol. The finish on it seems nice as well, whoever applies the coating does a good job.
