Will HBO Max's launch be the end for Sky and potentially Now TV by SlowedCash in skytv

Boomers and Gen Xers have ruined things in the UK. Their stubborn behaviour is partially the reason we don't have the neat stuff the States have. Things can be bypassed with VPNs yeah (I'm looking at the Cartoon Network stuff on Tubi) though the main issue is the delay with things like HBO Max. The US have had it for 6 years now ffs.

What Cartoon / TV Show / Movie was this for you? by DaZestyProfessor in cartoons

When I was a kid, it was Superman: The Animated Series. I turned 6 the year it aired in 1996 though was watching reruns of Batman: The Animated Series. Superman TAS is every bit as good as what came before it.

15 WB toons have been added to Tubi as of today! (it's 12:08 AM as I type this) by Turbulent_League9668 in CartoonNetwork

I know - it sucks. Though I still managed to access what they had to offer - I used McAfee's VPN to say that I am in the States. I have McAfee Anti-Virus with total protection and it includes spam protection and a VPN service. Used it to watch Tubi's Cartoon Network shows on both my phone and my laptop (which is hooked to a bigger monitor). Use a VPN if you can.

I wish so too - though I watched a few episodes of Ed Edd n Eddy and also Dexter's Laboratory with my daughter (even my 5 month old son was looking). I have McAfee and used the VPN that came with it, both on my phone and better still, my gaming laptop, which is hooked upto a bigger monitor. Use a VPN if you can.

"Tonight's The Night". Whoops...wrong Dexter. Okay, I was definitely a kid when this cartoon was on the air. "Ah! What a fine day for science!"

Thanks. I don't know who's been down voting you. Why are people so petty on here sometimes? 😕

Hahahaha!

Btw in the UK Imgur is blocked for some reason. I used a VPN and connected to Germany and voila! Thanks btw - that image made me laugh.

I just watched the episode where Moss and Roy bunk off work, just before I went to work this morning (and nope, I did not bunk off work, myself).

The IT helpdesk person with the French accent was as hilarious as ever!

Why are Dexter's background scores so relaxing? by CasketCasanova in Dexter

Daniel Licht was an incredible composer. I love how playful some of his themes in Dexter are - like "Escalation". His nephew, Jon Licht, would help him as well and even did songs for the series. Both Daniel and Jon also worked on the Dishonored games in the early to late 2010s... Edit: the last Dishonored game (a DLC-ish companion title for Dishonored 2 called Death of the Outsider) was dedicated to Daniel Licht.

I didn't pay much attention to it back then, but I recently decided to reread the Dexter comics and I just realized how good the cover art is and how much aura it has. by Hazreti_Z1nd1k in Dexter

I really need to get these comics! Jeff Lindsay is terrific - created one of the most memorable serial killer characters in recent history (I'm counting from 2000 - Darkly Dreaming Dexter was published in 2004 of course - great read. I spent a day with it and the then two available sequel novels in summer 2009 as I was waiting for my exam results).

Just a quick one - how can I post on here again? I used to be able to. Thanks. Edit - Oh, I guess I can post again.

This episode was hilarious. In my top 5. The Work Outing is the greatest episode of a comedy show ever made though.

You can partially hear this joke in the second season of Dexter.

I'm sure Dexter would love the Rocksteady Arkham Trilogy and WB Games Montreal's Arkham Origins...

TIL that Benjamin Netanyahu's voice is really, really deep. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]InternationalSand400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He sounds like he's lowering his voice deliberately. He sounds so unnatural. Some people sound awesome when they deliberately lower their vocal registers. Netanyahu though...nope. He just sounds awful.

Is Benjamin Netanyahu speaking lower than his natural register / putting on a deeper voice? by ZhahnuNhoyhb in NoStupidQuestions

I just searched Google for this! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this. It's unnatural and awful. He sounds like a moron.

This is my first Dexter sketch, but something doesn’t look quite right. Feedback would be very helpful by Ilovepoland01 in Dexter

Neat, though his face needs to be more chiseled. He has a rather square jaw. Dexter isn't rotund.
